This conversation with CEO of Dip HairCare Kate Assaraf was so fun for me, because 1: it's Dip shampoo bars, and if you've listened to the podcast for a while, you've heard me talk about shampoo bars, and 2: we're talking about an exciting collab with Kate/Dip and GoGo Refill, my refill store back in Maine that I love. They've done a few collabs together, but this November 13, Kate is debuting GoGo Refill's very own exclusive shampoo bar scent, and they'll both be at the South Portland GoGo Refill store to celebrate!
Kate's big message is to shop local - especially with the holidays coming up, but in general, consider shopping small and local when we can. Nobody is perfect, but we can try to be support local when it's possible, and keep the currency circulating locally - it also creates a relationship...
We talked about Kate's product ingredients, and one of her secrets she's keeping to herself, but another is that she has 20+ years in the beauty industry, and she uses some of the highest quality, science-backed ingredients in the most expensive shampoos - so you're not missing out by using a shampoo bar!
