Lauren Connolly is a person I relate to so much. She had me as a guest on her podcast Wildly Unplug, because we found out that we both recharge by being outside. Lauren has a very personal story about burnout, and how turning to nature brought her the fulfillment she was needing. She is an artist; she paints and is a photographer, a podcaster, and now she's added Author to the list of accomplishments! Her book is called Wildly Unplug, just like the podcast.
She says about her book: "Wildly Unplug — A Creative Guide to Reconnecting with Nature, which offers inspiration, journaling prompts, and simple ways to unplug from the digital world and reconnect with what truly matters. It's a journey of overcoming burnout by reconnecting with nature through art, nature journaling, and conservation work. How slowing down to observe and create deepens our connection to the natural world and becomes a powerful tool for healing."
Lauren's message she hopes you'll take away: "You don’t have to move off-grid or grow all your own food to reconnect with the natural world. Small, intentional acts—like picking up a paintbrush, journaling your observations, or simply sitting quietly outside—can ground you, reconnect you to the land, and remind you that you’re part of nature, not separate from it."

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
