How do stories shape our lives? Monica Herald knows. She’s modelled her life’s work on a powerful story that demonstrates how we can all bond together to empower and support each other in times of crisis. It’s guided her through the successful co-creation of books, businesses, and a magical journal for reflections, meditations, and spells. Listen to learn more!

Monica is a wordsmith and business strategist whose work is inspired by the story of "Stone Soup," which teaches that our communities are nourished by combining the treasures we conceal. Using this principle, she assists business owners to design (and execute) their business in a sustainable and strategic way---from how the business is structured, to services and products they offer, to marketing strategies and more. Monica also uses her editing superpowers to help authors structure their books and hone the words they share with the world. Recently, she unveiled the first in a series of notebooks in collaboration with author and witch Sara Mastros. This "Book of Hekate" is a journal inspired by the ancient Greek Goddess herself. In her free time, Monica can be found turning her yard into a native plant sanctuary (to the chagrin of her HOA), cuddling with her cats (who really run the household), and spending time with her bonus nephews and their parents.
