In this session, we start an extended study on Genesis 6:1-4 and the many questions it raises. Who are the Sons of God? Who (or what) are the Nephilim? What does it mean that man's "days will be 120 years." Why does any of it matter?
This will lead into a review (next time) of the extrabiblical Book of Enoch and how it offers an explanation of this passage that seems to inform the New Testament authors.
