Do you want to get more out of life? Well, that's great, but it's not going to happen by sitting around. The first step is always action. This podcast is about my life and journey as an entrepreneur, and take a free-flow approach to podcasting. Expect raw dialogues and trains of thoughts. If this isn't your cup of tea (or coffee as I prefer) you may want to turn back now. If it is something you want to give a shot, then I hope you enjoy the show.
Have you ever been stuck on what to do? Going back in between options without knowing what the 'right' path is? You may be stuck in analysis paralysis. Advice may seem to be part of the answer, but it is only a part.
In this episode I talk about some of my experiences with analysis paralysis and almost paradoxically how advice can contribute to it.
A bit more of a meandering episode than most on this podcast. I cover a bit about my experience with recognizing emotions and how they can affect judgement, along with growth with the help of others.
Exhaustion happens to everyone. It's human, don't let all this motivational talk fool you.
Exhaustion functions as an indicator, and should not be treated as a state of mind. The realm of a health diligent individual is between good to go, exhausted, and right before injury. Exhaustion is both the tool and the limiter allowing healthy diligence.
Listen in to find out my take on this, and peace out folks!
In this episode I talk a bit about moving beyond the voice coming up with reasons not to do things.
Frankly, it's very easy to find reasons not to do something, but it's important to distinguish where those reasons are coming from as all decision making is inherently emotional.
Listen in to find out my take on all this, and three methods of moving past these reasons (and when you should).
Diligence is something that many of us lack now adays. Personally I believe it's all simplified in 'hard times create hard people, hard people create easy times, easy times create easy people, easy people create hard times'
Right now we're at the easy people part of the cycle.
So, how to escape this, become a hard person during these easy times to perhaps somehow extend them?
Listen in to find out my take.
Everyone has lows in life, times where they are at their worst. Whether from external events or internal factors it is inevitable, you can't escape it.
Things will get better though, just as lows are inevitable, so are highs.
Listen in to get my take on this, along with my perspective on coping mechanisms and how they can be used to survive.
Nothing is truly new, and that's okay. It's important though to recognize that as this is the case we are doubly a product of our environment and the content we consume as it makes us, us. Being aware of the ways we're impacted by the content we consume is the first step to waking up.
to the future folks, and I hope you enjoy listening to this episode of Hacking Life with Jon Hacker.
Have you ever spent your everything on something, but do nothing? Hours down the drain with no results?
IMO you're probably doing fake work of some sort, listen in to find out my opinion on the subject.
Episode 2 is a bit more free form than episode one. Expect dalliances and divergence from the topic at hand.
Regardless, this episode we cover Imposter Syndrome and our Susceptibility to Emotions, listen more to find out.
The Why is a big topic in the self-help community, but how do you find your why? Or rather, how do you build it? Listen in to hear my thoughts on the matter.
