One thing ends and another begins – but this is the space in between.
Before the new season of The Recalling begins, these bite sized episodes will live in the void, but they are much more. They are an index of creatures that surround us, monsters with no names, angels with no wings, the folklore that folklore forgot. Each short episode will introduce you to the things under your bed and in your closet.
What makes them even more special is that they feature the podcasts listeners themselves. Sailing on the raft of their curiosity, they’ve asked me to tell them what lurks in the shadows around them where they live.
If you’ve ever told yourself there’s nothing there, that you’re alone, that there’s nothing to be scared of, all while the hairs on the back of your neck beg to differ, then perhaps you should reach out to me and ask.
In this short Episode, listener Michael Clark reached out to me to discover what deadly creature may be reaching out to him in Mississippi. To answer this I refer to a journal that is a few hundred years old where just such a creature is described and still stalks the landscape today.
If you’re new to the podcast, I encourage you to take a step back into the first season to learn more about me and my life.
