Beyond the Medical: The Heartfelt Work of a Death Doula with Brooke Nutting

Grief can feel like an unbearable weight, a journey no one is prepared to walk alone. But what if, in life’s hardest moments, you had a guide—someone to hold space, offer comfort, and help you navigate the unknown? Today, we’re honored to welcome death doula Brooke Nutting, who has turned her own loss into a mission of love, helping others find peace, presence, and meaning in life’s final chapter.

Brooke knows firsthand the impact that compassionate support can have during this transition. After losing her father to Lewy Body dementia in 2015, Brooke’s journey led her to become a death doula, providing guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance to individuals and families facing the end of life.
