You’re staring at the homeschool plans you once felt so excited about… but now they just feel overwhelming. Your house is a mess, the kids are wild, and the doubt starts to creep in:

“Why can’t I keep up?”
“This isn’t good enough.”
“I’m not good enough.”
“Maybe they were right, I can’t do this.”

If your daily thoughts sound more like criticism than compassion, if you’ve ever felt ashamed, defeated, or like you’re failing at the thing you care most about, you are not alone!

So many mothers talk to themselves in a way they would never speak to another adult, even though they admit with shame that they talk to their children like that to some degree.

In this week’s episode I’m going to help you recognize that voice for what it really is, a bully.

And then, we’re going to do something radical: I’m going to show you how to stand up to her.

Not with toxic positivity, but with truth, compassion, and the fierce love of a best friend.

Because when you stop bullying yourself and start standing up for your own dignity and worthiness, everything shifts.

You feel lighter. More capable. More connected. More like yourself again.

And you begin showing up for your kids, your marriage, and your homeschool with the grace that comes from knowing who you truly are: a beloved daughter of God, who is always worth fighting for.

If you’re tired of feeling heavy and hard on yourself, and you're ready to feel seen, supported, and lighter inside your own mind and heart, I’ve got a podcast episode that will speak directly to the little girl inside you who just wants a hug.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
