Podcasts aren't new, but it is new for HSD, and we are excited to kick this off, get it rolling, and give everyone a deeper look into our District!
It's a perfect time to kick off a podcast because we have not one, but two new buildings being constructed within the District. Our inaugural episode discusses those projects and provides an overview of how we've gotten to this place.
We have a lot of new residents in our community. Our population has grown 592% over the past 20 years, and so for those who haven't lived here all that long, to see these neighborhoods around them may not seem all that unusual, but to those who have lived here, they can remember when those neighborhoods had a field of corn in them, or a bunch of cows, so it's important to get some of our newer residents up-to-speed, with the really distinctive "history" of our past 20 years, because it is unique to our area, to our state, and maybe even to our country.
