Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Actress Charlene Tilton, Co-Star, “Dallas”

About Harvey's guest:

Today’s guest, Charlene Tilton, is a multi-award-winning actress, singer and producer who is perhaps best remembered for her unforgettable portrayal of “Lucy Ewing” on the phenomenally successful TV series, “Dallas”, for which she received a 2 Young Artist Awards, a Bambi Award, and a TV Land Pop Culture Award.

But beyond that iconic role, our guest has had a long and diverse career.  On the big screen, she’s appeared in dozens of movies including “Ragin’ Cajun”, “Deadly Bet”, “Center of the Web”, “Detonator”, “Edge of Salvation”, “A Unicorn for Christmas”, “Heaven Sent”, “Ladybug”, “Final Recovery” and many more. And besides “Dallas”, she’s appeared in many classic TV shows including “Happy Days”, “Eight is Enough”, “Police Woman”, “Knots Landing”, “Laverne & Shirley”, “Murder, She Wrote”, and “Married With Children”, to name only a few. You’ve also seen her in a number of TV movies and miniseries including “The Fall of the House of Usher”, “Point of Entry”, “The Michaels”, “Road Less Traveled”, “Second Chance Christmas”, “Starting Up Love”, “A Welcome Home Christmas”, and of course, the 2004 “Dallas” reunion movie, “Return to Southfork”.

Our guest also has a beautiful voice, as we all heard in the Season 2 episode of “Dallas” called “Runaway”, in which she sang the classic country song, “Silver Threads and Golden Needles”. She also had an international hit song in 1984 called “C’est La Vie”.

And beyond all of that, our guest is a strong advocate for autism awareness, as an ambassador for Actors for Autism, an organization providing improv and acting workshops for children and adults with autism. She’s also worked with an organization called “You Gotta Believe”, which helps teenaged foster children find permanent families.
