Today’s guest, Michael Ironside, is beloved and highly acclaimed actor, writer, producer and director who’s delivered well over 300 great performances in a distinguished career spanning over 5 decades.  

On the big screen, some of his most memorable blockbuster movies are “Scanners”, “Top Gun”, “Extreme Prejudice”, “Total Recall”, “Free Willy”, “Starship Troopers”, “The Perfect Storm”, “The Machinist”, “The Jazzman”, “X-Men: First Class”, “Turbo Kid”, “The Space Between”, and “Blackberry”. 

He also wrote, directed and appeared in the 1999 movie, “The Arrangement”. On television, he’s appeared in dozens of classic shows including “Hill Street Blues”, “ER”, “Young Blades”, “Vegas”, “Burn Notice”, “Criminal Minds”, “Smallville”, “This is Us”, “Hawaii Five-O”, “Barry”, and of course, he co-starred in the 1984 TV series, “Vee”. And he’s been in a whole slew of terrific TV movies and miniseries including “Vee: The Final Battle”, “Ford: The Man and the Machine”, “The Arrow”, “The Last Chapter”, “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles”, “Tokyo Trial”, and “The Dropout”, to name only a few. 

And in addition to his prodigious career in front of the camera, our guest is one of the most sought-after voice actors in all kinds of shows, and especially in the “Splinter Cell” video game series. He’s received many prestigious accolades for his work, including nominations for Genie Awards, Gemini Awards, Cable Ace Awards, Voice Actor awards and many others.
