Today’s guest, Todd Fisher, is a director, cinematographer, producer, business executive, author and talk show host who also happens to be a member of Hollywood royalty. 

He’s the son of one of the greatest and most beloved cinematic legends of all time, Debbie Reynolds. And his father was the renowned singer Eddie Fisher. He’s also the brother of the immensely popular actress and writer, Carrie Fisher. 

His professional background is in architectural design and sound engineering, and he has extensive experience designing and building sound stages, recording studios, and television facilities. He’s the former CEO and President of the Debbie Reynolds Hotel & Casino, and the Debbie Reynolds Management Company, and he was the CEO and curator of the Hollywood Motion Picture Museum, which was housed at Debbie Reynolds Studios in Los Angeles. 

He is currently CEO of the high-end production company, Hollywood Motion Picture Experience. He directed his mother’s 1991 TV series, “Movie Memories with Debbie Reynolds”, and he produced the highly acclaimed, multi-award winning HBO documentary, “Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds”, which was released several months after the tragic passing of his sister and mother, within 24 hours of each other, in December 2016. 

In 2018 our guest published a highly compelling and intensely emotional, best-selling memoir chronicling his eventful, turbulent and sometimes heartbreaking life with his beloved mother and sister, entitled, “My Girls: A Lifetime with Carrie and Debbie”.  And most recently, he and his wife, actress, hypnotist and mentalist, Catherine Hickland, have a show in Las Vegas as well as on tour, and they host a popular YouTube channel called “Cat and Todd Live”. 

Among the many awards and accolades our guest has received, I want to mention that in 1998, he, his mother and sister won the American Film Institute Platinum Circle Award, given to families whose creative contributions have significantly enhanced the entertainment community. And as you’re about to see, that award is certainly well deserved.
