In 2010, HTAB host and creator Jeanine Plumer, along with Rebel Rebel Production Company, created this TV show for public television that aired as part of The Save Texas History Program originally for KLRU-PBS Austin. The TV series was so well received, it aired nationally on PBS. This is Episode 1 of the Haunted Texas TV series entitled Peyton Colony, a freedman’s colony in Blanco, Texas whose previous residents still linger well after they left this world.
