deck, and we need to get youready for an action-packed
Thursday and Friday.
Let's dive in.
First up, a round of applausefor both our boys and girls'
soccer teams, who wrapped uptheir seasons last week at
Steven Decatur in the regionalsemifinals.
The boys finished strong at7-7-1, and the girls close out

an incredible season at 12-4.
Great effort, great energy allseason long.
Now let's talk volleyball.
This team's on fire.
They've racked up four straightwins, including a 3-0 sweep over
James Bennett in the regionalquarterfinals.
Next up, a huge matchup at arundle for the regional
semifinals this Friday at 4 30p.m.
Let's keep the momentum rolling.

And how about our field hockeysquad?
First, they took down Annapolis2-0 to claim the county
championship, and then followedit up with an overtime thriller,
a 3-2 victory over StephenDecatur, thanks to a clutch game
winner from Bailey O'Connor.
Now sitting at 12-5, they'llhost Chesapeake this Friday
night at 6 PM in the statequarterfinals.

Home field advantage only worksif we show up.
Alright, you know we gottafinish with football.
The Seahawks keep flying highafter a 42-13 win over
Chesapeake.
That makes them 8-0 and stillundefeated.
Quarterback Ben Rains waselectric again, 311 yards, five

touchdowns through the air, andhe even ran one in himself.
That's his third straight gameover 300 passing yards.
Big plays from Xander Dow withthree touchdown catches, and
Jaden McDuffie with two more and154 receiving yards.
The defense?
Rock solid.
Four sacks split between ZachPhilpot and Corey Warren.
Next up, South River hostsNortheast tonight at 6 PM, and a

Northeast brings a toughdefense, allowing just 14 and a
half points per game.
