Episode Title:๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ชMoney Has Moved In Africa๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช

Weโ€™re kicking off this special Heads Talk series with a long-awaited conversation between two remarkable leaders. Sitoyo Lopokoiyit, CEO transforming payments in Kenya and across Africa, and Sanjiv Purushotham, CEO of Bridge Solutions and our 'Heads Talk Guest' Host for this series.

What makes this episode truly special is the friendship between Sitoyo and Sanjiv. Their easy rapport and mutual respect bring depth, warmth, and authenticity to the discussion; the kind of chemistry you only get when great friends talk about something they both love: fintech innovation.

This episode marks the first in a series of conversations hosted by Sanjiv from Money20/20 Riyadh, featuring insightful exchanges with some of the industryโ€™s leading voices.

Sitoyo Lopokoiyit is the CEO of M-PESA Africa and Chief Financial Services Officer at Safaricom PLC. A recognised leader in fintech and digital transformation, he oversees M-PESAโ€™s expansion across multiple African markets, driving innovation, strategic partnerships, and financial inclusion for over 60 million customers.

Prior to this role, Sitoyo led M-PESAโ€™s growth at Vodacom Tanzania, transforming it into one of the continentโ€™s most successful mobile money businesses. He has also held senior leadership roles at Safaricom, Chevron, Total Kenya, and Uchumi Supermarkets. Under his leadership, M-PESA has introduced groundbreaking services such as Fuliza and M-Shwari, cementing its position as Africaโ€™s leading digital payments platform and a global benchmark for mobile financial innovation.

On a personal note, I have been trying forever to get Sitoyo on Heads Talk, so I'm extra happy to have this episode brought to you by Sanjiv!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

Itโ€™s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off Americaโ€™s third largest cash heist. But itโ€™s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular โ€˜ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
