It's a full moon this week.  Full moons can be a time when comparison starts coming out, because they are also a time when we start making connections and seeing what everyone else is putting out there in the world.  Which is exactly why you need this reminder right now.

The universe's pace is the right pace; we are the ones who create stress in life because of the constraints of time we place on ourselves

This episode is permission to go at the pace you are going at right now and why it is exactly the right pace for you.

Cathy (00:00):
This is your PSA that you're not behind.
You're exactly where you need tobe right now, no matter what
you're doing in life.

(01:13):
Well, hello friends.
Welcome to episode 74 of theshow.
This week, we're talking allabout how the universe's pace or
God's pace is exactly the rightpace.
No matter where you are in life.
But in order to know what paceyou're moving at, you kind of
need to know what rhythm you'rein and in order to find that

(01:36):
rhythm, the best way is to trackyour rhythms.
So I have this beautiful toolthat I've created called the
daily rhythms tracker that helpsyou do just that it helps you
find your body's innate rhythmas well as know where the moon
is in its cycle.
It also gives you a whole lot ofother opportunities to track

(02:00):
various habits and trends inyour mental, emotional, and
physical health.
So it's a great little tool.
I'll drop a link in the shownotes so that you can go out
there and download that if youhaven't downloaded it yet.
But again, it's the dailyrhythms tracker.
And in order to know whereyou're at in order to know what

(02:21):
pace you're moving at, in asense through this world, you
have to first have an awarenessof your own rhythm, your body's
own rhythm and how that fits inwith the energy around you.
And so the daily rhythms trackeris the tool that can help you do
just that.
And this week, if you're usingthe daily rhythms tracker,

(02:42):
you're going to mark down onthat tracker, that it is a full
moon because we do have a fullmoon coming up this week, which
is beautiful and big.
And it's often the place wherepeople first start to realize
that maybe the moon has someenergetic pull to how we feel
and how we experience the world.
So the energy of a full moon isall about.

(03:04):
Being in action.
Which means that there can be alot of things happening around
you.
There can be a lot ofconnections that you're making.
There can be just a lot of bigemotions coming from the people
around you.
If you have kids, you likelymight feel this.
You might also feel an extremefatigue because there is such

(03:24):
energy pulling on your owninnate energy as well, or your
own body's energy.
So, this is an opportunity totake a deep breath in.
And breathe out.
All right.
You'll make it through thisweek.
Full moons can be a lot of fun.
They're also about beginning tolet go beginning to release.

(03:47):
And when there are a lot ofthings happening around you,
sometimes it can feel likeyou're not doing enough.
It can feel like all the otherpeople are doing all the things.
But you're not doing enough.
You're not where you want to bein life with, um, your job or
your business or You're notwhere you want to be in life

(04:08):
with your marriage or yourfamily or your health, or weight
loss or body image or whateverit may be.
There's a lot of comparison thatcan come into play when we have
that full moon energy.
And.
If we know the phrase that.
Timing is everything.

(04:29):
Then I want to just be thelittle nudge to remind you that
you have permission to go at thepace that you are going at right
now.
You don't need to be goingfaster, you don't need to be
going slower.
You're exactly in the rightplace that you need to be right
now.
And this may sound cliche.
But it's often a good reminderto have.

(04:51):
God's timing is absolutelyperfect.
The universe's timing isabsolutely perfect.
Everything that has happened inyour life, and that is happening
right now is the exact rightpace for you.
No matter how maddening orfrustrating that may feel at
times.
It's the exact right pace.
When you think about it, we areactually the source of time.

(05:15):
We are the source of looking atthe clock on the wall of
creating that clock on the wall.
In order to give ourselvesdeadlines in order to have
deadlines from other peopleimposed on us.
So we place these constraints onourselves.
Because time is what makes usthink we are not where we should

(05:37):
be in life.
Time is what creates the stressin our lives.
I'm not saying time is a badthing by any means.
But that's the external factorthat.
Makes us think we're not wherewe should be.
We start to consider our age.
We start to consider how old ourkids are.
We start to consider all theseother factors that come into
play.

(05:57):
That are directly related to thelength of time that we have been
on this planet.
And then we start to spiral andfeel like we're not where we
should be.
We start letting that shouldmonster in.
And.
We start letting comparison in.
And we start to feel like.

(06:17):
We're not going at the rightpace.
But in all actuality, everythingis working together.
Everything is exactly as itneeds to be because everything
is interconnected.
As you're on your self awarenessor self understanding journey,
it can honestly feel like it'staking forever because small

(06:38):
incremental changes have tohappen over time in order for
the big changes to happen.
So it can feel like it'sdragging on and you just want to
hurry up and be at this point, you just want to hurry up and
know this.
You just want to hurry up and behere or wish that you had known
that 10 years ago.

(06:59):
There are times when it feelslike it's going super slow.
All while at the same time, itcan feel like it's going super
fast because you might beencountering so much information
that you want to consume, orthat maybe even you're feeling
like there just aren't enoughhours in the day, because you
want to know all thisinformation or know all this
content and wish you had knownit five years ago, 10 years ago,

(07:21):
20 years ago, whatever it maybe.
So it's this beautifuldichotomy, I guess, because on
one hand it feels like it'staking forever to get where you
want to be.
And on the other hand, it feelslike it's going so fast.
That there's just not enoughtime.
There's that key word again, time, to consume all the

(07:41):
information or all the knowledgeand wisdom that you're trying to
consume.
But here's the reminder thatit's all happening at the pace
that's exactly right for you.
When you're a do it all personwho has high standards and
expectations of what you want.

(08:02):
Life to look like.
It can be easy to fall into thistrance of unworthiness.
Kind of like what I was talkingabout at the beginning where
you're not feeling.
Like you're enough where you'refeeling like you're behind.
And maybe you wish you weresomeplace else in life or with
your life at that time.
You begin to overanalyze oroverthink.

(08:22):
And you believe that you have totry harder in order to come up
with a different solution ormethod to get something done.
You might even notice your bodyfighting back against you in
response to.
You fighting against the pacethat God or the universe is
taking you through.
But what if you're exactly whereyou need to be right now?

(08:45):
And I know I keep saying that.
But that's because I want togive you permission to just
accept, to be in this place oftrust, to be in this place of
flowing with the process.
And when you begin to do that, you stop over analyzing, you
stop overthinking.

(09:05):
Your body.
Begins to feel relief.
It doesn't hurt so much.
Those areas of your shoulders, where you're carrying all of
that stuff.
Uh, it begins to melt away.
Because you allow.
The pace of the universe, thepace of God.

(09:25):
To take the burden.
You allow yourself to move withthe flow.
And that's a beautiful thing.
So you have full permission totrust the process and to trust
where you are in life right now, even if it feels super heavy and
icky and yucky.
We have to get through some ofthose things and order to get to

(09:46):
where we want to be.
And in order to flow.
And even when the heavy stuff ishappening and the yucky stuff is
happening; and friends, I cantell you, that this was my week,
last week.
It seemed so heavy and so hardand so cumbersome.
And, you know, what, Isurrendered.

(10:07):
I trusted the process and Iaccepted what was happening.
Of course it was not withoutsome tears and breakdowns and
some really, really messy.
Uh, messiness on my part.
Messiness in my emotions.
But I made it.
And I'm telling you that becauseI want to allow you to give
yourself permission to alsobegin to trust that process.

(10:30):
If trust is the opposite ofcontrol.
Then trusting means you are ableto surrender to the process of
life and essentially flow withthe ups and downs instead of
trying to control them.
They're not always going to beeasy ups and downs.
Definitely not.
Not always going to be easy.
But if you can trust.

(10:51):
And you can zoom out and theneventually see the big picture
that every piece of the puzzlehas to come together in order to
get you.
Where you are right now in life, life will definitely feel like
you're flowing.
Instead of going against thecurrent, instead of trying to
swim upstream.
So I'm going to leave you withthis.

(11:14):
The universe's pace is the exactright pace for you.
And you have full permission tokeep going at that pace.
To keep going at the pace youare going right now.
Because it's perfect for you.
Even if it doesn't feel like it.
You've been listening to health, harmony, and happiness with
Cathy.

(11:34):
Cheers to cultivating your ownversion of health, harmony, and
happiness in your life.
