He received his B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. He also received his M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN, along with another M.S. in Physiology from Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN.  His medical degree is from Indiana University School of Medicine.
