In this new episode, I sat down with singer/songwriter Mercy Joshua, and we had a very candid conversation about how we often mask the pain from rejection by withdrawing or becoming overly attached. We dove deep into the significance of our family dynamic and attachment styles in shaping how we give and receive love and the faith it takes to let people in again. Most importantly, we discuss recognizing and choosing the people God has destined you to be yoked with, whether a friend, partner, mentor or even family.
About Mercy
Residing in Edmonton Alberta, Mercy Joshua is a Worship minister, composer, and lover of Jesus Christ. After personally receiving the message of the love of Christ, she became passionate about sharing that same message with others, which she does in and out of the studio. She has released over 30 songs and has another 30+ songs in the works for this year, which she is excited to produce and record with the help of the Holy Spirit. Having just completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition at MacEwan University, Mercy also spends her nights composing for film and other media. She’s an avid film watcher and loves studying scores and developing herself as a musician, as she pursues a career as a film composer.
