Acute Viral Myocarditis - Part 1 of Hillary's Story

For the very first episode of Heart to Heart I thought it would be helpful as the host to share my own experience with heart failure. I'm excited to also have my husband, Daniel along for this 2-part episode sharing his own perspective. In the first 48 hours of my hospitalization I was in and out of consciousness and Daniel was there with me. Soon after we were separated while I was put in Covid isolation. Daniel's perspective is not only helpful in piecing the timeline together but he also adds some helpful medical knowledge thanks to his profession as a Firefighter/Paramedic and Tactical SWAT Medic. Come along with us as we share a little bit about who we are and then share in detail what occurred in those first 48 hours in November of 2021 when I first became sick. We'll walk you through my symptoms, what led us to call for an ambulance, the process of getting a diagnosis and then transporting to another hospital. Tune in next week for Part 2!
