He has also been a member of The Slits and the New Age Steppers and performed with Public Image Ltd from 1986 to 1992, and then from 2009 to 2025. He was raised and educated in Bristol, England and is also the drummer for the supergroup Ashes and Diamonds, alongside Daniel Ash (from Bauhaus/Love and Rockets) and Paul Denman (from Sade). The band's debut album, ‘Ashes and Diamonds Are Forever,’ is out on October 31st, 2025.
