In Part 6 of our Famous Last Words sermon series, we look at one of the most powerful declarations Jesus made from the cross—Tetelestai, meaning “It is finished.”
This message unpacks what was truly completed at the cross: the debt of sin paid in full, the power of death broken, and the victory secured for all who believe. Jesus didn’t say “I am finished”—He said “It is finished.” The work is done. The sacrifice is complete. Salvation is available.
