Nailed Down
As the wind blows on the ocean
Spirit moves humanity,
So the mighty battle for each soul
Takes place where none can see.
But each wind has a direction,
It is named from whence it comes,
And an “ill” wind blows no good but blows
Souls who let go The Son.
Throw your anchor to The Rock,
He’ll hold and keep you through the storm.
Take root deep within His bosom,
In His heart you’re safe and warm.
As in His outstretched arms you cling,
Believe that all’s not lost.
Be sure He’s always there for you –
For He’s nailed upon that cross.
