A soothing reading of chapters 16 to 19 of the book of Numbers. The Lord has to demonstrate to the people of Israel repeatedly that He has chosen Moses to guide them. Those who rebel against the Lord get swallowed up by the earth or die in some other way. God continues to give instruction for how the Levites are to run things and give offerings and take their share of the offerings in the Tabernacle.
A calming reading of chapters 12 to 15 of the book of Numbers. The people of Israel send out scouts to see what the land is like that God has promised them, but the scouts return and instill fear into the people, therefore God punishes them for the lack of faith in His provision and power. So God tells the people that because they went to see the land for 40 days, now they will wonder the desert for 40 years.
A soothing reading off chapters 8 to 11 of the book of Numbers. God reveals to Moses how he people should behave when they celebrate the Passover, as well as how to make a Nazarite vow. He also provides the people with quail to eat when they are craving meat in the desert.
