You know, this entire podcast sits on the shoulders
of pause and pivot, pause andpivot, pause and pivot.
And in the last episode, Ihighlighted a moment where I
needed to pause and ask God,like clearly, like hey, I
believe that I am going in theright direction, but just in

(00:22):
case, and so let's take a listen, me and you which I sent you
the audio message the other dayI was just like I just talked to
God.
We were just sitting and I wasjust like all right, god, I,
literally this is what I said Iwas like I was like God, I feel
like I'm called to talk to youbecause I don't out loud as much

(00:46):
as I probably should.
And I was, like I always say, Ifelt like I've been on heaven,
on Earth's porch, right, like toconvince myself that everything
is working out the way thatit's supposed to work out, like
I've made these words work forme.
But I was like, just in caseWords work for me.
But I was like, just in caseI'm confused or I'm misled,

(01:10):
please align me.
So I am following your will.
And then, in Jesus name, amen.
Reason why I highlighted thatis because this muscle, this
pause and pivot muscle, is notsomething that you just do once
and then you're good.

(01:30):
Right, it is a way of life, itis a way of being if you choose
to walk that walk, and so I akinit to honestly like Jedi life.
Right, like yesterday was May4th.
Uh, for those who care, may thefourth be with you.

(01:51):
Uh, for some people thatresonates.
Others they're like what areyou talking about?
Which is cool, because growingup, I was not a star Wars fan
boy, but in recent years, I'vecome to appreciate Jedi life a
bit more.
Yes, and in my past life, I usedto always envision billionaire

(02:13):
lifestyle, meaning I have allthe money and access to go, do
whatever I want whenever I want.
And so I would wake up and Iwould literally just think where
in the world do I want to go,or who do I want to give to, or
what do I want to buy?

(02:33):
I get to do what I want to dowhenever, wherever.
That was like the path that Iwas on and, without a doubt, I
felt like I was going to livethat lifestyle, I was going to
be blessed with those type ofresources.
That is a way of life, and manypeople aspire to live that life

(02:57):

No judgment, however, as I wason that path, I was like, yeah,
it seems like I would eventuallyget bored with that life,
though, right like after youhave all the stuff, then what?
After you've been to all theplaces, then what?
And so, just intuitively, Iwanted to live a different kind

(03:22):
of life, but I didn't know whatthat looked like.
So I had to pause and pivot, andso one of the things that I've
discovered, tying it to Jedi, isliving in that present moment,
not thinking about the future,not thinking about the past,
just being present anddiscerning over and over and

(03:49):
over God.
Am I following your will?
Your kingdom come your will.

(04:09):
Heavenly life on earth?
No-transcript.
And intuitively, I feel like Godis going to bless the humans in
a unique way that others aren'tgoing to be able to see, if

(04:30):
they choose to walk thatheavenly path.
And, like I know, there are somany people who have lived a
divine Christian life andthey've been on the right track
way longer than I have Right,and they are blessed in a way
that is different than how I ambeing blessed right now.
But, like the way that myimagination works, is God is

(04:55):
going to consistently blow mymind?
Is God is going to consistentlyblow my mind.
Therefore, others who may havehad that billionaire outlook and
choose to like, pivot away fromthat plan and follow God's
divine plan, is going to havesome unique value as well.

(05:16):
Like it's a certain gift, it'slike a trade-off, it's like, oh,
instead of pursuing thisbillion dollars and that being
your gift, follow me as in Jesus, and I'm going to give you a
new gift, a different gift, andthat gift is going to be even
more valuable than your billiondollar lifestyle, and that gift

(05:40):
is going to be even morevaluable than your billion
dollar lifestyle.
And so I just choose to believethat.
But the reason why I'm bringingthat up is because I
consistently have to pause andpotentially pivot, because God's
like, it's impossible, mondo,for you to anticipate my plan.
You just can't do it.

(06:02):
I'm always going to have thefuture version of you sitting in
a blind spot.
You can't see it.
You can try to predict as muchas you want, but you cannot see
it.
That's the lifestyle that youchose.
That's the lifestyle that youchose Because in my past life, I
had that billion dollar flagand no matter where I was at, I

(06:27):
was able to see that billiondollar flag over the horizon and
so, no matter what I was like,going in the direction of that
billion dollar flag and I saidto God, I don't want that
lifestyle, meaning the billiondollar flag lifestyle.
And because of that, god is likeoh okay, well, I'm going to

(06:48):
completely remove all the flags.
And now you have to be astudent, you have to be a
Padawan, you have to be astudent, you have to be a
Padawan, you have to listen formy guidance, you have to be
guided by the force every singlestep.
And so there's never a day off,because every moment of every

(07:09):
day, my eyes are peeled, my earsare keenly open, trying to see
or trying to hear what God isasking me to do in that moment.
And I believe that livedexperience is adventurous.

(07:31):
It is the thing that is nevergoing to get dull, because
predictability is removed fromthe equation.
The one thing that I have faithin is your kingdom come, your
will be done on Earth as it isin heaven.

(07:52):
But because in my imagination,heaven is dope, it's epic, and
bringing that heaven to Earthmeans it's going to be dope and
epic.
Here I'm optimistic that thesesteps that I'm taking is going
to lead to something amazing.

(08:14):
Yes, and my question to you isWhatever path you're on right
now, the outcome that you aretrying to attain is it actually
the path that you're supposed tobe pursuing Right Like when I

(08:35):
asked that question?
Is your spirit excited?
Are you like, absolutelywithout a shadow of a doubt, I
know I'm going in the rightdirection.
If so, keep pushing.
But there are others who arelistening to this and they're
like meh, I don't know, mondo,let me think about it.

(09:01):
Pause, literally out loud, askGod to reveal a different path
that is going to fill yourspirit Caveat.
If you do ask out loud, godwill offer that pathway to you,

(09:28):
but it might look a little scary, it might be off putting, you
might be like what this wayright, and that's God
challenging you to step intoyour faith and go in a direction
that you would have never wenton If you would not have asked

(09:54):
that question out loud.
And then that becomes the pauseand pivot moment that
completely changes thetrajectory of your life.
So, for those of you who areguided to this podcast today,
pause, ask God for thatrevelation out loud, in Jesus
