What if the path to your greatest wisdom and spiritual insight begins with a simple choice? Through a powerful wordplay revelation, whiskey transforms into "wise key" – a metaphor for how sobriety might unlock divine perception that remains hidden to others.

This isn't about moral judgments or forcing lifestyle changes on anyone. Rather, it's an invitation to consider a profound spiritual proposition: "The oddballs who want to hear from God, who want to experience their superpower, who want to walk this world with wisdom that lives outside the norm – literally, their first step is to choose sobriety." Could it really be that straightforward?

The spiritual journey described transcends mere abstinence. It's about establishing a direct connection with divine wisdom: "I live by the wisdom, grace and generosity of God's word, not by the ingenuity of my own intellect." This approach transforms us from isolated problem-solvers into vessels through which God reveals solutions that exist in everyone else's blind spots.

For independent thinkers accustomed to relying on their own intelligence, this surrender presents a unique challenge. Yet the promise is compelling – becoming the person in the room who, through divine partnership, can offer breakthrough insights when everyone else is stuck. It's about moving from solo operation to "tag-teaming" with God, discovering that "the few of us that do, yo, it's curtains."

If you've been seeking your unique contribution or struggling to find clarity amid life's complexities, perhaps this perspective offers a starting point worth considering. The invitation stands: choose your wise key, pursue sobriety not as a burden but as the beginning of an extraordinary partnership with divine wisdom. What might you see if you cleared your vision?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because I gave up whiskey, god was like oh, thank
you for doing that.
The thing that you were blindedto is you weren't actually
seeking whiskey, you wereseeking the wise key, right,
like whiskey.

(00:20):
You, seeing it over and overand over, was just something
that every time you look, youwould see wise and you would see
key.
Now that you don't have whiskeyin you anymore, I am going to
put you on this track to haveyour wise key.
You are going to start seeingthings in the world in a way

(00:40):
that others aren't able to seeit, because you're not putting
this dark spirit into your body.
So I'm going to clear yoursight a little bit more, yo.
So I start and stop thisepisode many times over because
I want to share the right words, but I also want to make sure

(01:04):
that I'm not projecting.
But it feels like, for somereason, god is like no, I need
you to double down on the wisekey as it relates to whiskey,
and so it's not necessarilyabout whiskey, but it is about
alcohol.
But it is about alcohol andlike I'm not trying to be on my

(01:30):
soapbox telling somebody elsethey have to be sober or else
right, like that's not what I'mon.
I don't want to be that guy.
Yes, and there is a uniquevalue prop that aligns with
somebody who chooses sobrietyRight, just out of faith, just

(01:53):
like oh okay, I'm looking at theworld, I'm looking at how
people are behaving, I'm lookingat my own behavior and, for
some reason, I'm just going tomake the random, healthy choice
to choose sobriety and because Imake that choice, I believe
that God is going to give mewith some type of unique value

(02:14):
prop.
Right, that's, that's literallyall I'm on right now.
For some reason, god is just onme to just say those words that
way, as if God is making itthat simple to be like yeah, the

(02:35):
oddballs who want to hear fromme, who want to experience their
superpower Right, who want tolike, be able to walk this world
with some type of wisdom thatlives outside the norm Literally
, their first step is to choosesobriety.

(02:55):
Like, what if it is that simple?
I'm not saying that itabsolutely is, but what if it is
?
What if you choosing that pathand believing that that is all

(03:23):
you need to do to start toexperience the wisest version of
yourself is to just choosesobriety?
Let me put some more color onthis At the top of my notes in
my iPhone, I have written I liveby the wisdom, grace and
generosity of God's word, not bythe ingenuity of my own
intellect.

(03:43):
Let me say that one more time Ilive by the wisdom, grace, grace
and generosity of God's word, not by the ingenuity of my own
intellect.
So here's how I receive that.
So for me, I chose to balanceto the best of my ability my

(04:13):
mind, body and spirit Right.
The healthiest that I can makemy mind, the healthiest that I
can make my body, the healthiestthat I can make my spirit Like.
I choose those behaviors dayafter day after day.
And because I choose thosebehaviors, I also choose to
believe that, no matter whatenvironment I am in, when the

(04:35):
community that I am with getsstuck, when they cannot discern
the solution or the right wayforward, god will use me, the
wise key To ask the rightquestion or to offer the right

(04:57):
solution.
Does that make sense?
Like, really like I'm.
I'm asking like does that makesense?
Because for me it's not aboutbeing a know it all, because for

(05:18):
me it's not about being aknow-it-all and like having a
billion books memorized in mybrain, so like I know everything
, like I don't get joy from that?
Me personally.
I am the person in the roomthat God will use to reveal the
answer that's sitting ineverybody else's blind spot, you

(05:40):
know, and it's because Ibelieve that I'm doing the work
to have that direct connection, that like healthy thread, as if
this invisible umbilical cord isconnected to God, and when
nobody else has the answer, it'sjust like, oh, just send it to
Mando.
And so if it is just thatsimple and all I have to do is

(06:07):
be the healthiest version ofmyself, sobriety is just part of
that health path.
Be the healthiest version ofmyself, sobriety is just part of
that health path.
But that also means thatanybody can access it right.
Anybody that chooses to humblethemselves and say, oh, okay,
like I'm going to choose wisdom, grace and generosity from God

(06:30):
as opposed to needing to solveevery problem with my own
ingenuity and intellect Right.
The thing we want is to bevalued in our community.
Whoever our community is,whoever we rock with, we want to
be able to bring something tothe table.
That people are like man.
She has that one thing man.

(06:51):
He can do that better thananybody else.
And so there's a way to choosethat you are in direct tag team
relationship with God, so thatwhen nobody else has the
solution, god will use you todeliver it.
Like like that's so dope, liketo me, that is so dope To

(07:20):
literally be the authenticversion of yourself, the peak
version of yourself, theheavenly, human version of
yourself, and just know thateventually everybody's going to
be stuck and you can step in andsay, through God, I am offering
this plan and the reason whyGod is using you is because you

(07:44):
chose to believe in him, believein his wisdom and his grace and
his generosity.
As an oddball though it's sochallenging, it's challenging
for us to give up or surrenderthis intellect that we feel like

(08:04):
is above and beyond everybodyelse around us.
But I'm telling you throughexperience that relying on our
own wisdom will eventually leadto our own destruction.
I believe it to be true, and sopivoting away from our own

(08:29):
wisdom and aligning on God'swisdom is extremely hard, but oh
so glorious.
And because we have beenoperating as outliers up until
this point, on our own, becausewe just believe we're just that
dope in general when God says ohman, like as opposed to like

(08:55):
continuing to operate alone youwant to high five and do this
together?
Oh bet Right, like the lastthree years, I'm telling you, it
was as if God was like oh,mondo, you want to tag team this

(09:16):
thing?
Okay, let's go Right.
Like this is me literallyfeeling God's energy.
Like let's go, because so often, as oddballs, we get hung up on
our own gifts and we don'tsurrender to God's plan.

(09:38):
And the few of us that do, yo,it's curtains, straight up, it's
curtains, straight up, it'scurtains.
And so there's not many morewords that I want to say on this
topic, except for considerchoosing your wise key.

(10:00):
Pursue that path of sobriety, simply because Peace.
