About Our Guest
Mindy Goldman is an Ob/Gyn who practiced on the faculty at UCSF for 30 years. Based on a personal experience, she became interested in providing women's health care for breast cancer survivors. At the time, there was very little known, and she helped create a field bridging breast oncology and gynecology. She has become a nationally recognized leader in the field. In 2012, she authored the American College of Ob/Gyn (ACOG) Practice Bulletin as part of the College’s comprehensive clinical guidelines on the management of gynecologic issues in women with breast cancer. She serves on the Survivorship Panel for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and is the Sub-committee Chair for the panels on sexual functioning and menopause. She semi-retired from UCSF in order to join Midi Health, where she supervises clinical care and will be helping launch a survivorship platform in order to provide holistic, evidenced-based survivorship care to cancer survivors nationally.
