Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hey, their friends, welcome back to her business elevated podcast.
I'm your host, Dimitria. I'm your content strategist, an entrepreneur,
and an all around solopreneur cheerleader just for you, and
I'm so thrilled that you've joined me today and we're
going to dive into strategies that help busy women like
you to create meaningful content, to grow your brand, and
to live the lifestyle that you've dreamed of. At the

(00:37):
time of this recording, it is holiday season, so I'm
really surprised at how quickly this past year is gone.
Can you believe that we're already in this season? And
if you're listening to this episode during any other time,
I just want to say that, no matter the season,
time just flies right. It's just like what happened. But
at this time of recording, I'm looking outside at Christmas

(00:59):
decor decorations in my neighbor's yards and it's really just
that magical time of the year when everything just sparkles
a little bit more. But I will be real with you,
it is also one of the busiest times of the
year with all the holiday shopping and all the hustle
and bustle and things that are happening right now during
this time of the year. Also, not everyone is happy
during this season, so there's just so much to be

(01:21):
grateful for, but also a lot to think about as
we invest in other people's lives and help them through
maybe a hard season. So just a lot going on.
But life does get busy, right and today we're going
to be talking about the busyness of life for solopreneurs.
So between running a business and managing family life and

(01:42):
maybe carving out time for yourself, I hope it can
just feel like there's never enough time in the day.
And if you're trying to juggle it all while staying
consistent with your content, you're in the right place. Because
I am currently feeling this right now as I'm in
overdrive lately, really pushing out more content on YouTube, pushing
out more content here on this podcast, and I've got

(02:04):
things going on at home as well. So it's just
one of those seasons of my life where it's just
a little a little bit busier. So today I'm going
to be sharing tips to help you stay on track
and to stay confident with your content creation no matter
how hectic things can get. But before we jump in.
I do want to remind you to connect with me
on YouTube. I do have a video there that is

(02:24):
exactly like this podcast, only it goes into far more detail.
As I'm able to share more express myself a bit more,
I go into more detail on my videos. So I'm
going to be encouraging you guys to as you listen
to these episodes, to hop over to YouTube and find
the entirety of the topic, just because I think that
is the way I want to manage my content creation

(02:47):
from here on out. And so this podcast is a
great place to kind of catch up on maybe a
summary of what I've talked about on the channel. But
I'm going to invite you to head over to my channel.
It's called dimitria zinga Solopreneur Life Style, and be sure
to just go ahead and subscribe to it in addition
to checking out a couple of the videos for tips
and encouragement for support on your journey of entrepreneurship, and

(03:10):
be sure to hit the like button on some of
those videos. It's really going to help me. And if
you just happen to watch a video and it helps
you in any way, I'd love for you to comment,
leave a comment, because I'm on a mission to reply
to every single comment that happens on that channel because
I really need the engagement on YouTube. In other words,
it's going to help my channel to grow. So I

(03:31):
would love your support there. But we're going to hop
straight into today's topic and we're going to start with
the idea of content creation for the busy holiday season.
But I don't want to not make this show evergreen,
as we talked about in the last episode, so I
don't want to limit this episode to only the holidays.
So let's just talk about content creation for any busy

(03:53):
season of your life. So, whether it's the holiday hustle
or you've got a lot going on in your life
right now, things can really feel overwhelming. So how do
you stay on track with your content when your time
is at a premium. So I have three top tips
for you on today's episode, very very short show, but

(04:25):
free tips, And the first one is to drop the perfectionism.
On my video, I go into more detail about how
I've been able to learn through my perfectionist tendencies how
to get that perfectionism to a manageable place in my
life where I'm still doing things in a spirit of excellence,

(04:47):
so to speak. I like to make sure that what
I'm doing looks good, sounds good, and I don't want
to just throw anything out there in the public. When
I'm creating content, I really take pride in my work. However,
I do realize that not everything can be tip top
shape perfect all the time. So that's the first thing
we have to do as content creators. We want things
to look good and to sound good, and we want

(05:07):
to put our best foot forward right, but we do
have to drop perfectionism because all it does is hold
is back. I've been there spending hours tweaking a graphic
or editing audio, only to realize that I've just missed
the bigger picture. So what I've learned is that your
audience doesn't need perfect they need you. They're here for
your authenticity, your expertise, and your encouragement. So as you

(05:31):
start creating your content this year, let's remember to make
this season and this period of life about progress in
your business and not perfection. Doing a little bit every
day and consistently only allows you to get better and
better at what you do, So you don't have to
be perfect the first time around. Second time around, you
will get better as you go along. So let's just

(05:53):
drop this perfectionism and kick it to the curve, leave
it far out of our lives because we don't need
to be perfect in order to be productive and to
make progress with our goals. The second tip I have
for you is to batch and schedule like a pro.
And I am going to keep talking about batch scheduling.
I probably mention it in every episode that I've done

(06:16):
for the past couple of months because it's so important.
The key to stay consistent is batching and then scheduling
what you've done. It's like it's basically taking your energy
and dedicating your time, maybe on one day, to create
all your content for the entire week, or even the
whole month. If you can swing the whole month. Let's
just take it for one week, right. You record your videos,

(06:39):
you draft your blog posts, you prep all your social
media captions, and then you schedule everything in advance using
your tools and whatever those tools are buffer later your
platform of choice. Choose your tool. Trust me, this will
free you up to enjoy your time without scrambling to post.
I really think this whole batch scheduling is something that

(07:02):
is helping me so much that I really need to
do just the whole video on this or tutorial because
it's something that has become a real mainstay in my
everyday life as a creator, and I think I want
to show you guys how I'm batching, but I'll do
that sometime probably in the new year. But this is
really important to me, and if I don't emphasize anything else,

(07:23):
I'm gonna emphasize that on this show. Is that you've
got to get a hold of your schedule. And the
only way a busy content creator, a busy entrepreneur can
get work done effectively and efficiently is to batch your activities.
It's a game changer for sure, because you're not scattered
and you're not doing so many things all over the

(07:45):
place all day long. You pick your one or two hours,
and you condense your activity into those few hours or
minutes that you have and you do it all at once.
So it's just a great way to increase your productivity.
And when your solopreneur, you need all the productivity tips
that will help you, and you also just need to
find ways to manage all the work that is on

(08:08):
your plate. In doing most of the activities for your business,
on your own. So since you're not hiring a team
or growing a large team, if it's just you and
your VA or just you by yourself, then these tips
are things that are going to help you be able
to do all of the work related to your business
and still live a normal life with your family and

(08:29):
with your friends and in your community. My third tip
for you is to repurpose and recycle. So repurposing your
existing content. For example, you'll take a blog post you
wrote six months ago and turn it into a social
media carousel, or clip a snippet from an old video
and post it as a real Your audience really doesn't
mind a little bit of repetition. In fact, they probably

(08:51):
will appreciate the reminders, So don't be afraid to repurpose
and recycle your content. I did talk about that on
the last episode about every content. Repurposing is something that
most content creators will tell you that we rely on
for just the whole strategy of how we get things done.
And one of the things that I have been doing

(09:12):
most recently is making sure that I start my content
strategy with my main macro content. And I'm going to
be talking more about this in future episodes. And how
I create my strategy. But with YouTube being my macro content,
I feel like now it's really much easier for me
to manage this particular podcast because I can recycle what

(09:34):
I've talked about on the channel onto this podcast. Instead
of vice versa or starting from some other idea or
shooting from the hip, or trying to figure out what
I'm going to be talking about every week on every
single one of my platforms, I can just start with
YouTube and then take that content and make that into
my podcast, and from there, we're making that into my
blog post and from my blog post to my socials.

(09:57):
And that's kind of the direction that I'm going in
for this year, or at least I'm trying it out
to see if I like it this way or if
I want to switch things out. But I do think
that my YouTube is going to be my starting point.
And so in your business as a solopreneur, figure out
where you want to start creating your content. What is
your home base for you? It could be your blog,

(10:17):
and from your blog, maybe you create a supplemental video
or an audio which is your podcast or something like that.
So it depends on what you want your macro content
to be and if you have questions about how to
create your strategy, I'm more than happy to sit down
with you. Feel free to book some time on my calendar.
I will be offering some sessions to help to coach

(10:37):
you through your strategy coming up really soon, and also
some coffee chats. So I've got some things on the
horizon that i cannot wait to share because I do
want to help you with your content. And lastly, I
just want to wish you a happy holidays. For my
right before Christmas listeners, I want to wish you a beautiful,

(11:00):
joy filled holiday season. I'm going to be taking some time,
just a very short holiday break, to rest and recharge
and celebrate all the work that I've done this year,
and I hope that you're going to be doing the same.
But I'm not taking a long break. I will be
back in just another week, right after Christmas, with more
solopreneur advice, more exciting announcements to help you elevate your

(11:21):
business in the upcoming year. So if you're ready to
step into this new year with confidence, I've got something
just for you, my friend. It is called the Content
with Confidence Mini Course, and this course is designed to
help you create a clear and effective content strategy that
aligns with your goals and your lifestyles. It's a mini

(11:42):
course because it's super short, but it is also very
impactful because it comes with everything that you need for
an actual coaching session with me, minus the actual coaching.
The video series is my coaching, and the workbook is
a part of that, along with the audiobook, So it
comes with those three things. So it comes with the

(12:03):
Fearless Content Creator Workbook, a Fearless Content Creator audiobook, and
the workbook is about fifty pages. The audiobook accompanies that
and it helps you in kind of a coaching style audio.
And then also the course includes six modules that help
you with mindset reset and exercises to help you with

(12:24):
your mindset helping you to be your authentic self to
create magnetic messaging. And then we even get into keywords
and search engine optimization for beginners, and of course more
encouragement and support. So I love that this is the
first course that I've launched this year specifically for solopreneurs.
I have launched several courses in the past about different things,

(12:46):
mostly tech related, but this is the first one where
I really deal with confidence and so I felt like
this was a good starting point because that's what most
content creators and solopreneurs need to really get started, to
get moving in that direction. So Content with Confidence is
currently going for thirty six dollars because it's on a
holiday sale, and when the cell is over in a

(13:07):
couple of weeks, it will increase slightly. The price will
go up, but not buy a lot. So I do
want you to take a look at this course, and
you can see the link in the show notes, and
if you're interested in purchasing, let me know if you
do make a purchase, because I would love to hear
feedback from you about how things are going, and maybe

(13:27):
even connect with you one on one to see if
there's anything additional I can do to help you with
your content creation this year. I'm really serious when I
say that I want to help you. I'm really serious
about this. So this course is not just something that
I've created just for the sake of having products that
I can sell. This is something that I really want
to help you with. So if you, again, if you

(13:48):
are interested in being a content creator this year, this
is a great start, I think. So again, the links
in the show notes or you can visit her business
elevated dot com and find the different ways to work
with me there. And if you love this episode, be
sure to share it with a friend and leave a review.
Your support means the world to me. All Right, that's

(14:09):
it for today, my friends. Stay safe, enjoy your holiday
season if you are celebrating, and whatever you are going
through in life right now, whether they're positive or not
so great, I wish you the best and my prayers
are with you and your loved ones and your family.
So I'll see you right back here in about a

(14:29):
week and until then, keep shining and keep creating to
your business success.
