đđď¸In this weekâs episode, Susanna Ross Clyde (Max) shares her essay, âTime to Go: Even Mickey Canât Helpâ reflecting on her experience with betrayal and what it took to move forward and heal on her own.Â
During our conversation, Susanna shared how writing has served as a therapeutic tool, allowing her to channel her innate creativity. Although she faced marital betrayals, her support network helped her move forward and push past the burden of societal expectations. Susanna talks about the magic of words and how music can hit us deeply and resonate with our own stories. We touched on the lasting effects of domestic violence on trust and the beauty of rediscovering ourselves after trauma. Most importantly, Susanna emphasizes the importance of self-expression, embracing the beauty and hardships of life, and choosing to be better rather than bitter.
