opens on Sheri talking aboutcuring her brothers illness with
his heart rate dropping.

Roll up on the doors and demandfor the lab workers to get down,
asking for the vibranium tools.

the queen says the king is dead.

appearance on a ship Shuri is inthe lab working on emergency
responses, superhuman strength,suits the queen.

Shuri says they don't need theherb, but new technology.

And then she says, what of theBlack Panther?
She asked Shuri was trying tosave her brother, not the
mantle.

So it seemed like he was, if hewasn't a threat, he could be a

They convene the council.
The council talks about Namor,The queen visit Shuri in the
lab.
Shuri is checking out thevibranium detector used to find
the vibranium that Namor left.
Yep.
Shuri says Whoever built it isbrilliant and asked a queen for
Shuri to get the.
We intercut to Alexandria,Virginia.

We're gonna check out Ross.
Who meets with Shuri and Okoye.
On a job.
They're looking for thescientists who built the
vibranium detector.
Ross asked about mining the shipwith multiple casualties
Basically CIA and navy seals.
30 guys, two officials gone.

Says to assist them to find thescientists.

A blue woman in the headdress takes care of the cops
and the four others take on aOkoye.
She wounds them all and slicesthe face of the hammerhead guy
before he gets to Riri as hetells the other three to return
to Namora Okoye and hammerheadfight.
The headdress throws a waterbomb that's Namora, that knocks

M'Baku hits Namor and Namorpunches and breaks his breast

The Talokan climb up the side ofthe ship.

The Dora Milaje drop off to theside of the ship on the attack
as Shuri as Black Pantherassists them with Sonic Blast.
That was so cool when they werecoming up the side of the ship
and then basically M'Baku, guysheld onto ropes.

And the Dora Milaje went down the side.
That was a really cool scene.

Vengeance has consumed us.

Namor sees his mom in Shuri.
As he yields.

It's pretty powerful scenethere.

And Nakia said that she did.

You know what that scene remindsme of?
It kinda reminds me of the endof SheHulk because then he came

And then it says after all thecredits go by, it says dedicated

we thought about the movie orwhatever.
And that is the scene when theom comes, the Queen mother comes

What did you think of the movie?

When we first watched it, it was like, just really
emotional, like at the verybeginning.
Just basically all the waythrough it because you just felt
the power of it.
Because, Chadwick died in reallife and that was their guy,
that was the Black Panther.
That was everybody's guy.
And to try to do a movie afterthat, a lot of people just

thought that the director Ryanwas just crazy.
And I believe that he wrote abeautiful movie.
A lot of people might not agreebut I just felt like they really
paid homage to him and at thesame time brought the everything
up a notch just as far aseverything that was going on.

And so that was cool as well.

I really liked it.
I did think it was kind of long,but I don't think that was like
a major problem with it.
I did like it.
I think the third act had a verygood callbacks, like the rest of
the movie, and I liked that theybrought back Killmonger for that
part.
Overall, I thought it was like agood movie.
I think, I just wish that, likethe rest of the mo I feel like

the rest of the movies have beenpretty down compared to the

It's just when the movies length this so long,
really don't wanna watch itagain.
When I was doing the notes, Ifelt like I was like almost
done, and then I'm like, anothertwo hours?
But it wasn't like on the lastepisode we talked about Black
Adam and that movie being long,it didn't feel long when we

watched it.
But when I was doing the notes,it felt long because I was like,
oh man, there's another hourleft.
Goodness gracious.
And that last hour just seemedlike it, it went by just regular
time.
I Doesn't make any sense, but itdidn't seem like it went faster
because there was all the actioninvolved.
Normally when there's a lot ofaction involved, it feels like
it goes by quicker, but, andthere was like still another 30
minutes left.
But, so it just makes it hard torewatch.

But I I'm glad I re-watched itand saw some of the different
things that I missed the firsttime.
One of the things I was tellingyou about was the heart shape
herb and their idea for bringingIron Heart into this story.
And she uses a heart and I, notthat's how it is in the comics
but I just thought that was coolto tie it into the heart shape

And that kind of thing.
And I didn't really catch thatuntil the second time we were
watching.

know this is a loaded question, but what did you think
of it out of all of the Marvelmovies?

I think it's probably, like they're in the
middle.

Somewhere out of all the 30 Ersofilms.
And it, if you had to do like ameter, like up or down, I would
say it's probably towards thetop centile of the movies.
So if you are looking at it inthirds, it's probably the top
one third Yeah.
Of all the movies.

Because I thought, overall itwas beautifully written,
beautifully acted, the Queendeserves the Oscar for this.
I don't know if she'll get it,but she deserves it.
I She got the Golden Globe, butshe put in a great performance.
Shri put in a great performance,Riri all, Okoye, all of them, dk
all of'em put in a really greatem M'Baku.

The guy that that did Namor andthen his supporting cap, I they

I feel like it was up there withspider-Man Homecoming, cuz I
really liked that movie and Idon't, I can't think of any
other movies that are aroundthere.

There's not a lot of movies that you'd watch.
Both or all three of them.
And this would be one that Icould see me watch watching both
Black Panther and Black Pantheron it forever.

The Thor movies aren't likethat.
Like you'd probably watch two ofthem, iron Man, we seem to watch
all the Iron Man movies.
That's just something that we doin our house.
Captain America's the same way.

You watch all the CaptainAmerica movies.

Yeah three out of the four Thor movies.

But like Dr.
Strange, like I think the secondone I'd probably watch over the
first one cuz the first one'sstill good, but it's just, I
don't know, it's not as GoodGuardians of the Galaxy.
I'd probably watch the first oneover the second one.
It's not a fan of the secondone.
I didn't like the Ego planet andall that stuff, but we digress.

So we see we see her meet upwith with Lutheran's coworker
there.
Yeah.
On Ferrix Andor arrives at Mar'sHouse Ferrix is under Imperial
Authority.
B2 Emo says that Tim Turn Andorin Marva lets, Andor know Tim is
dead.
And Andor tells her that he hasenough credits to get him and

them anywhere.
They, if they go tonight and orchecks on Bix and they pull out
first thing in the mor.
In Mon's apartments.
The party talks to a home friendabout the tax from the bank of
Kmar.
Three people in the Galaxy knowbecause she needs his help.
It's basically an old friend MonMothma is a lie, a projection

She's raising money.
She needs to access her familyaccounts raising them out for
children outreach program.
As Affront Perrin is not to betrusted, she says her own

So in this instance, shedoesn't.
On Ferrix and or breaks into BixYard, Tim thought Bix and Andor
were back together.
And he asked about the buyer.
Flashback to troops marching.
Clem instructs Cass, it's notour fight.
People throw rocks, Clem stopsthem.

Andor goes back to Marva andtells them Andor she says they
can't go.
Marva talks of the rebelliontalks about the attack on
Aldhani.
People are standing up work thatneeds to be doing.
She tells Cass he has adifferent path.
He tells her he will have nopeace.
He cuz he'll worry about her andshe tells him, that's love.

(01:00:38):
You can't stay.
And she can't go.
She tells him to stop searchingfor your sister and let Kaari
go.

ZaneMan (01:00:44):
From that point on, he does stop searching for her.

He does.
And they brought it up becausemaybe it was some point that we
were gonna go through and wenever heard anything more about
it until, just, until just then.
Yeah.
At the isb, bln filled a chargeagainst a fellow supervisor.
Supervisor.
Miro de Deidra is getting sectordata without filling a request.

Deidra uses Imperial emergencyAct to access data focused,
organized on a rebel effort toacquire Imperial military
components.
The director Reassigns Orlanisector to Deidre, and that also

In Nemos of Vacation Resort.
Andor is in the shower accessingcredits out of his case.

Now Keith is walking on thebeach and a man running with
Shortt Trooper.
After him, the shore troopersarrest him and a kine unit holds
up.

ZaneMan (01:01:42):
Yeah, this is kind of messed up right here.

Jonni Boy (01:01:45):
Yeah.
So Andor gets arrested.
When he is at the judge Keith isu used to a six month sentence,
or he was gonna get a six monthsentence.
Now it's six years.

ZaneMan (01:01:55):
Yeah, it's, that's tough.

And that was it.

Andor the prisoners are gettingoff work and or sees the

They are taking to the blockprison.

directive for rebel activity,hot floor, and then lights are

That's what the prisoner, it's a hot floor.

ZaneMan (01:05:58):
Yeah.
But it's really like anelectricity floor

Lights on the floor, and thenthey're off the prisoners, line
up at the shower dressed back towork.
It's been 30 shifts later.

Bix is talking to Marva.
Marva Fell.
Brasso and Bix talk about Marvabeing obsessed with troopers and
looking for tunnels under thehotel.

So the rebellion can sneak in.

That was a pretty cool thingthat she was still running
around trying to figure stuffout in her old age.

Yeah, she was always a Rebel.
Yeah, she was running around.
Like where are the tunnels at?
I know there's tunnels aroundher somewhere.
Probably couldn't remember, butshe knew there were tunnels.
Be and Sinta are in a cafeacross from Marvis house.
Bix visits a PAC and wants touse the signal in the hidden
tower, which is not a good thingto do.

At Lutheran shop calling forKayla.
She's listening to the radiofrom the shop owner on Ferrix
trying to find Andor his motheris ill.
He knows it's Bix.
Kaylene Lutheran does.
Vel can have a look since she'salready out there.
Yeah.
Lutheran leaves Coruscant toSegra, Milo.

ZaneMan (01:07:26):
I don't know who that is.

Jonni Boy (01:07:27):
That's just a planet.
Oh, goes to P'S Yard and theEmpire is all over it.
Brasso said they took Pac to thehotel.
Imperial Calls Bix name.
She runs as she should.
Two tubes Lutheran asked saw ifAdani was him and the equipment
for Saul for money.

(01:07:48):
Beat with k Crager.
First he says, need to puttogether.
And they don't want to.
Saul doesn't want to, so there'sno sale today.
He says.
On Ferrix Bix is caught by theEmpire and taken to the hotel.
Pac is being interrogated byDeidre where they take Bix.
And then on Nakia five Andor andhis table working well together.

And that's the end of episodeeight,

Jonni Boy (01:08:17):
Yeah.
So the prison scenes, were allwhite and a lot of people were
reminded of George Lucas' Thx1138, which if you watch any of
his movies, he tends to hi hide1138, somewhere in the movies.
And that's where Thx sound camefrom.
So they took that on a littlebit.
So that was cool with the whitejumpsuits and all that.

Yeah, that was neat.
I thought.
Episode nine.
Nobody's listening under intensescrutiny.
While imprisoned Cassian makesallies to plan an impossible
escape.
On Ferrix Deidra and Dr.
Go interrogation of Bix.
She's brought in because of Pac,because of a hidden radio.

Deidra are trying to get theidentity of Axis and the list of
the stolen imperial equipment.
Bix says she doesn't know thebuyer Axis deedra asks about
Andor.
On Nakia five.
Andor at his table are makingparts.
Eiff has 41 days next man outwhile working with his table.

(01:09:19):
They pay attention to how a newman is brought on the floor.
Andor goes to the bathroom tocut a pipe.
They discover the lift is notthe same as the floor.
As guards don't have boots.
They discuss an escape plan.
And this is intercut basicallywith Bix being tortured.

(01:09:39):
Deidre says to keep Bicks as awitness.
Her officer wants to hang Pak inthe square.

ZaneMan (01:09:47):
No.

Jonni Boy (01:09:48):
Yeah.
Poor Pak

ZaneMan (01:09:49):

Coruscant in Senate talks about the res resentencing
as senators turn off theirlights on the pods, not in
support.

of this isn't the best that theycan do.
And it was just there for money.
And, overall the story wasn'thorrible, but I feel like they
just didn't try the best.
reviews would probably agreewith me on that one.
And so that was my feelingsfirst going into it.

Cuz like I said the levels werelinear.
And it was very repetitive andit, like the game, it never
changed.
It was just the same thing youhad to do each time.
And it wasn't challenging in anyway.
It just could have been a lotbetter.
I played it again.
Honestly, I didn't have, Iwasn't too critical on it this

time, but I didn't really'Ched,go through the full story again.
I just played a couple missions.
Maybe there's a differencebetween the missions.
And they also added a lot morefrom when I played it, cuz this
is years later.
They added five new charactersfrom when I first played it.
Which just, I don't know if itreally changed the game in a
very interesting way.
But, they're there, they'retrying to make up for the game

(01:35:09):
that they released.
I don't know.
Just think that compared toother games that we've gotten
from Marvel.
This one, it's just not it.
If you're gonna play a marblegame, I recommend one of the
Spider-Man games.
Or I think even the Guardians ofthe Galax game was better even
though people didn't really likethat one that much either, from
what I heard anyway.

(01:35:30):
Yeah, I don't really have toomuch to say about it.
I just wanna talk about itbecause I feel like the game
was, it happened and they gotswept under the rug.
But, I think give it a secondtry see how you're feeling.
I still don't think it's thebest, but maybe you do.
There's another thing I didn'tsay was that there's glitches
that the, like people havetalked about and they just
haven't gotten fixed afteryears.

(01:35:51):
I don't know.
I feel like the game is just, Iguess the right word is
undercooked.
I just don't recommend it toanyone who likes the games.
I'm sorry I didn't have too muchto say about it, but, I'm sure
we got enough content from themovies and the show, but yeah I
think that, like I said, ifyou're gonna play any of the
games, play the other ones.

I would not recommend it at all.

I think I originally played on the Xbox and then I
had it for free on thePlayStation five when I got
that.
So I, I played it on there forthe podcast and still didn't
like it.

was it any difference between the Xbox and the
PlayStation five?
Any graphic differences oranything, or?

ZaneMan (01:36:43):
It did look a bit better because of how the
PlayStation five runs.
But honestly even then it doesnot make up for how it should.
And even then I heard thatpeople still thought it didn't
look the best even on thePlayStation.
So?

Jonni Boy (01:36:55):
What about the storyline and the trying to, the
different task and stuff likethat?
Was that any good or was it justkind blame

ZaneMan (01:37:02):
the storyline?
It was interesting.
It was about the characterKamala Khan, which we've talked
about on the podcast before.
It was about her.
It was about basically a day.
No, something like a day wherethere was this thing that
started the mutants.
they were all being taken by aimbasically being experimented on
and killed.
The story is not horrible, butit's just boring.

(01:37:24):
The whole game is just bo That'show I would rate it boring out
of 10.

Jonni Boy (01:37:27):
So how long did it, did you play it, to beat it or
did you just play it and you gottired of it or what?

ZaneMan (01:37:33):
I beat it the first time.
I think I got just bored of thegame and so I ended up setting
it on the easiest difficulty.
So I could just get through itbecause the game wasn't even
that hard.
But it's just annoying to haveto, I think they give like the
enemy extra damage.
So it just makes the gamelonger.
I didn't really wanna spend thatmuch time on it.

(01:37:55):
I don't remember exactly howlong it took, but I was not
willing to commit that much timeto it this time.

Jonni Boy (01:38:00):
Would you say that like what scale would you give
it?
Like one to 10, one to one tofive, how would you rate it out
of, I don't know which numberyou want to use.

ZaneMan (01:38:11):
I think maybe five out of 1000 I would say.

Jonni Boy (01:38:16):
Yeah.
So not very high.

ZaneMan (01:38:18):
No, not very, to be honest though.
I think it was probably like atwo outta 10, I would say.

Jonni Boy (01:38:24):
So we've talked about stray on this show.

ZaneMan (01:38:27):
That was really good.
Better than Avengers for sure.
That game was short, but it madeup for, with like great story.
It looked like great in general.
It had a good atmosphere, themusic, and it was great.
The story was perfect.
I would that was a cat joke foryou there, by the way.
Perfect.
Yeah.
It's so much better than MarvelsAvengers.

Jonni Boy (01:38:46):
We, and we talked about the Batman games on this

It would be blessed me to say

The movie, I hope that the nextones are gonna get even better,
even though I liked this one.
Because Quantum Mania people didnot like it.

And the show, I thought thatshow was great.
Mandalorian up soon.
I have high hopes for thatseason three now.

And the bad batch is pretty good as well.
And looks pretty good too.
