Microphone (Yeti Stereo Micr (00:00):
So
we all want to make money,
right.
And the whole point of Cast orlaunched your podcast is to grow
your audience.
And eventually grow yourbusiness and make money.
Am I right?
So in today's episode, I'mdiving into how to use
podcasting for your offer, yourproducts or your services, and
how to actually present that awith even your podcast episode.
(00:24):
So let's dive in.
So, what you'd want to do isfirst, you want to think about
what exactly are you offering.
If you are a service provider, more than likely, it will be to
have someone book a call withyou or discovery call or
something to that nature.
If you are presenting your ownproduct, like, say for instance,
you have a course or maybe adigital product.
(00:46):
You want to think about that aswell?
What I like to do is when I am.
When I'm getting ready to launchsomething, or if I have an
offer.
I first write out what the offeris.
And then I have a favorite, likea little short sentence story
behind it and then have a callto action for them to download
(01:08):
and where to download.
So definitely write this down.
That's what you want to have.
Now what you can do is once yousit and you write down whatever
your offer is, this.
A couple of ways you canactually present it.
So, number one, you can takethat script or that paragraph
(01:29):
script that you created, ortheir offer that you created.
And you can bake it with yourepisode and what I mean by
baking it.
We're threatened into yourepisode as you can and record
your episode like I'm doinghere.
And you can casually.
Like.
Added in, so you can casuallyvacating it.
(01:50):
You can say, Hey, thanks so muchfor listening to this episode
and why you're here.
I have a Now make sure that youroffer.
Makes sense with the podcastepisode.
So, what I mean by that is youdon't want to have an episode
(02:11):
where you're talking about, youknow, maybe dog walking or dog
grooming.
And then you turn around and youhave a offer to download your
free keto guide.
That just does not make sense.
Okay.
So don't do that.
Making sure that your episode.
Actually makes sense with thecall to action that you're
(02:33):
trying to get them to do.
Okay.
It's.
I hope this is making sense.
Okay.
So another thing you want tohave the link.
So you want to have the link inthe show notes.
So that they can easily click onit, or you can read off the link
if you want to, you don'tnecessarily have to, you can
just say click the link withinthe show notes.
And have your call to action forthem to click the link in the
(02:56):
show notes, you can definitelyread off the website URL you
could go to.
Hello, CS dorsey.com forwardslash.
Offer or Disney guide orsomething like that.
Yes.
I love Disney.
So another thing you can do, andI love doing this so much is you
can have a beginning role, amajor role and enroll.
(03:18):
Now I use bus sprouts for mypodcast distribution platform.
I love it so much.
I teach my students how to usebus brows.
I just love it because it's justso easy and it makes sense to
use it.
But with bus sprouts, they havewhat they call dynamic content,
where you can go and is if youhave bus sprouts account, How
(03:40):
you will go in and sign intoyour account, you would click on
episodes and then you will go todynamic content.
And under there.
Is, has a pre-roll.
May roll and a post roll.
Okay.
So these, you can actuallyupload.
Your offer your call to action.
You can have like a mini app foryourself for if you have like an
(04:04):
event going on, you can record.
A mini audio snippet, and youcan actually stay where you want
to place that.
So if you want it in thebeginning of the episode, you
can do so if you wanted in themiddle of the episode, you can
place it there.
And if you wanted.
After the episode, you can placethere as well.
(04:24):
Okay.
So what you can do, you can mixit up a little bit.
You can have a pre-roll.
Just a, a short, brief snippetof what the offer is.
And then at the end you can say,Hey, just want to remind you
that we're going live.
The bootcamp is if we offer an,a bootcamp or often a webinar,
(04:47):
You can have like a reminder andyou could put that in the pulse
roll.
Okay.
Now how you set this up.
So super easy, you can have thisset up to, whereas though you
can have all of them.
Not all of them.
I'm sorry, where you can havethe pre-roll and the post role
to play for all of yourepisodes.
(05:09):
I know.
Cool.
Right.
If you wanted to play for acertain episodes or a certain
number of episode or specificepisodes, you can do that as
well by applying it to so youwant to apply to episode 20 25,
26.
And 30.
Okay.
You could do that as well.
So it is so flexible how you canuse this.
(05:32):
And I love it a lot.
And you can switch it up anytime.
And I done both.
So I've done where I've baked ina offer.
All my episodes.
And then I've done a where I'vedone a pre-roll.
I prefer the pre-roll murals andthe pulse rolls because I can
(05:52):
remove that offer.
And then I can say, okay, nowassigned to start promoting my
bootcamp so I can switch it up.
And then when I'm done with mybootcamp, I can switch it back
to, Hey, download my leadmagnet.
Okay.
Oh, this makes sense.
I really hope this is reallygetting your creative juices
flowing.
And another thing you can bringprevious clients to interview
(06:16):
them on your podcast.
So this is great.
If you are a service base.
Business owner.
If you have past clients, youcan definitely have your past
clients jump on the podcast withyou.
They can talk about how amazingyou are.
You can ask them questions as towhere they were before they make
you to where they are.
(06:37):
Now.
This is a great testimonial typeof interview that you can do.
And then Nixon definitelyamplify your, the number of
discovery calls and bookingsjust by doing these type of
episodes.
Okay.
A lot of people do when they getready to launch their course,
they'll bring in past students.
And then the students would talkabout where they were.
(06:59):
And then where they are nowafter they taken the course.
Okay.
So genius idea.
Okay.
Another thing you could do, youcan teach something specific on
your podcast relating to yourservice or your offer at the
end.
I said at the end, but you canactually just do a whole episode
on that.
You can teach something specificto whatever you do.
(07:19):
So if you are a websitedesigner, you can talk about,
the top.
Three websites and designplatforms you recommend.
And why you recommend them.
If you are a podcast manager, like I am.
You are a podcast manager.
You can give a tips on whichmicrophones is best to use,
(07:40):
which I did.
I have some episodes regardingthat, so I'm definitely check
those out.
If you are a coach, you can talkabout the five ways.
It depends on what type of coachyou are.
So if you productivity coach.
Five different ways to increasetime and to decrease work or
something like that to decreasefrustration I'm like horrible
(08:03):
with niches, but you can dothat.
Be creative with it.
Like there is no set way.
To run your podcast.
I listened to podcasts wherepeople have literally coached
people live on their podcasts, and that has really amplified.
They're their business so much.
(08:23):
I've watched a YouTube channels.
Where people have coached peopleon their business via YouTube
and just like crushed theirbusiness.
Like just destroy them.
Right on camera, but broughtthem back up as to like what
they need to do to make thingsbetter.
So it's so many different waysyou can do this.
(08:45):
You can also do.
A video podcast show on atraining.
So this is a, be like a YouTubetype of thing.
Right?
So you can have a YouTubechannel where you're doing
nothing but trainings.
And then you can actually takethat audio and put it into a
podcast form.
But you can still have theYouTube.
(09:07):
Podcasts as a video, you coulddo a free mini workshop and then
you can take that audio, put itinto your podcast player or your
podcast distribution channelwhichever platform you're using.
And then also that YouTubepodcasts video is rolling as
well.
So for my service providers, ifyou're gonna do a video on
(09:30):
YouTube, you can take theYouTube video.
Go ahead and do.
The tutorial, my suggestion isto talk every time you do a
click.
And tell people exactly whereyou going in the click.
Like, how can I explain you?
Tell people exactly where yougoing on the screen, how the
(09:52):
screen look, if you're going touse the audio repurpose the
audio.
You would definitely have to bemore detailed.
In your training video so thatpeople who are listening.
Kinky be idea can see.
How you're maneuveringthroughout the page.
Okay.
I know that might be a littlebit difficult to do, but it's
(10:16):
doable.
And like I stated earlier, makesure no matter what you post,
either your calendar link youremail address, if it's a.
Hey, send me an email or URL inthe show notes.
If you mention it, The URL go towww dot.
Fellow C is dorsey.com forwardslash go, or for a slash
(10:40):
download or however you have it.
Make sure you mentioned that andalso mentioned that it's in the
show notes as well.
So to recap, would you want todo is make sure you link.
The link in the show notes.
You want to add a beginner roll, mid roll and roll.
If you want to add it as a formof an ad.
(11:01):
You can do that, you can bringclients to interview them on
your podcast.
You can teach somethingspecific.
On your podcast related to yourservices, and you can also do a
YouTube training video, whichyou then can turn it into a
audio podcast.
So.
I hope this was helpful.
I know I gave you a lot ofthings to think about, but these
(11:23):
are some of the things that youcan do to offer your services or
your products.
All your podcasts.
I hope this was helpful andtuning to next week's episode
by.
