Welcome to the podcast where we talk about life, love, and the pursuit of...coffee. A little slice of life, a little comedy, some great friends, and a lot of food. Oh, and can't forget the coffee - where we find the coffee and the coffee we enjoy. Join us for a casual chat and a few laughs. January means a new year of camping plans which includes the potential for...camping kitties! We met some really cute kittens but it wasn't meant to be, at least not yet. Also, our NYE party was a good time, as usual, as was our 23rd wedding anniversary. We got bit with the nostalgia bug, getting to see Labyrinth in the theatre for it's 40th anniversary. Quick mentions of Olive's grilled cheese of t...
TW: pet death, grief
Today we talk about one of the hardest days in a pet owner's life - saying goodbye to a furry family member. We're heartbroken to share the passing of our cat, Keesa Fish, the one who brought the "Fish Minute" to some of our episodes. We chat about some favorite memories from her 18+ years of life with us and how we're handling the loss. There are tears.
Excuse the initial chaos in this episode - we had just scrubbed the pups and they were restless and shivering. And K was being a butthead, but that's normal. This episode covers some updates on T's new job, Keesa Fish's condition, family happenings, and plans for December and the 2026 camping season. We also chat about some local food spots we recently visited:
It's the saddest time of year: the day we tuck the boat and camper away for the winter. T shared news about a scary but exciting life change - a new job! We also recapped our last camping trip of the year at Waupun County Campground and our adventures there:
We're back and on location (in our camper) at Schomberg County Park. We talk about coffee stops, waterfall hikes, breweries, and other adventures in Northern WI and the UP.
This time, we DID remember to push the magic button on the audio interface, but we didn't pull the blinds down, so there's a bit more reverb than we'd prefer. Just more proof that we're human. Thank you for listening any...
So there's a special button that needs to pressed on the audio equipment to properly power the microphones. On our 3rd on-location at Mauthe Lake, our 46th episode, we didn't press it. And we got cocky, and didn't bother with headphones, otherwise we would have caught it.
After much debate, we decided to release the episode anyway to share the content, even though this does not reflect our normal aud...
We've brought the camper back home from storage and are getting it ready for the upcoming camping season. We also talk about the chaos of the draft coming to Green Bay. Mini movie review of Fall (women stuck at the top of a 2000-foot broadcast tower). Some of our recent visits, in no particular order:
We did it. We accomplished a bunch of work on our kitchen walls and ceiling, and we're still married. Hear about what kept us away from recording episodes during this break, and the spots we hit when we did leave the house:
For the first time, we were spotted fout in the wild on a snowy morning at Vintage Rose (De Pere coffee shop and bakery, not a burlesque dancer). We enjoyed tasty coffees, delicious breakfast, an fantastic, buttery pain au chocolat, as well as some chuckles with the owners. On this episode we talk about Valentines Day and snow days, house projects, and upcoming plans (i.e. Cafe Crawl 2/22!).
Want to see an amazing sunset? Head to People's Park on Washington Island, part of Door County in Wisconsin. We chat about our last camping trip there and a few of our favorite places:
We also talk about our first and second visits to Oakley's in De...
Happy anniversary to us! Married 22 years, together 25 years. It's also adopt-iversaries for Vida and Ollie. We also recent hit our 3-year pod-iversary for this podcast. We chatted about anniversaries of the past and how this year went at Fratello's Waterfront Restaurant. In short, it was a fantastic experience and we'll be back! We also talked about our first experience at Uncle Mike's Food ...

We set the Way Back Machine to July and talk about our busy month:
We recap our June adventurous camping at Big Eau Pleine County Park and the cool spots we found around the Wausau area:
Also chatted about date night at Ledgestone, our usual stop at Studio 1212,...
The episode where K and T apologize for frequently disputing the key points of the Minnesota trip because both have slipping memories and didn't think to review the information before recording the episode. Thanks to the power of Google photos and maps timeline, we're able to share our adventure from the end of May with some degree of accuracy:
Talk about nostalgia. 22 years after our last stay at Lake Emily Campground and we're back again. We recorded this episode on location from within our cozy camper on a chilly fall day. K finally gives in - Rule 3 is official: Ice cream is required when on vacation. When near Stevens Point, that ice cream must be Belts. We also visit The Landmark in Amherst and Red Mill in Waupaca for tasty coffee and breakf...
Welcome back to Season 4 of Hey You (even if K was wrong and said 3)! We're so happy you're still listening. New coffee shop visit - Vintage Rose in DePere. We give a sneak peak of our summer, talk about our newest big purchase (Subaru - we'd love to discuss sponsorship), share some sad HY family news, and chat about our High Cliff State Park camping adventure. Some places we visit: Ledgeview Natur...
SEASON FINALE! We are once again recording an episode on location from our camp site at Mauthe Lake while playing SkipBo. Chilly April weather drove us to find warmer activities like shopping around West Bend and Cedarburg, exploring Greenbush and Dundee, and tacos. Some places we visited:
Cabin Fever is hitting hard, so we talk about how we survive the anxiousness to get outside as well as plans for when the weather finally warms. Restaurants we visited recently:

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
