Our guest on today's episode of the High Volume Hiring Podcast is Tom Chevalier, general manager of Appcast, Inc's Labs. Cohosts Steven Rothberg of College Recruiter job search site and Jeanette Leeds discuss with Tom how employers can best convert into applicants those candidates who visit the employer's ATS but don't immediately apply. Across all industries, occupational fields, employers, and job boards, the typical click-to-apply percentage hovers around five percent, meaning that employers are failing to convert into applicants about 19 out of every 20 candidates who are interested enough in a job to go to the employer's career site. One solution to the problem was recently introduced by Appcast Labs: its Xtend product. Intrigued?
