In this 2-Part episode, I begin telling the story of my son's painless, pleasurable, joyful, transcendent home birth. I believe that every good birth story starts with the conception and pregnancy story. In this episode, I share the details surrounding his conception and birth, which wasn't nearly as wonderful as his birth.
While I loved being pregnant, my personal life was falling apart. I hope that in sharing my story of this pregnancy, it helps those who are also struggling in their marriage, with their care provider, or are otherwise having a less-than-ideal pregnancy. It doesn't mean a less-than-ideal birth.
