Approximately a year before commencing my northbound Appalachian Trail (AT) thru-hike, my brother-in-law introduced me to the “Mighty Blue” podcast. Instantly captivated, I was drawn to Steve Adams' genuine enthusiasm and passion for the Appalachian Trail and its community. Since then, I have been a dedicated listener and fan, with the honor of being featured on his podcast multiple times.
Steve Adams, also known as Mighty Blue, is a distinguishedpodcaster with over 2.5 million downloads of his renowned show "Mighty Blue on the Appalachian Trail." He is also the founder of the Hiking Radio Network, which offers a platform for other aspiring podcasters to share their hiking-themed content with a wider audience. Adams has successfully completed two northbound thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail in 2014 and 2019, hiked the Camino De Santiago trail in 2018, undertaken several other backpacking adventures, and authored three books about his experiences.
