A Passion for People - hiring for a niche business and de-risking the process with Helen Barclay

I'm one of the very lucky people who are friends with the amazing Helen Barclay. Helen is the Managing Director of EnviroDNA, a business where she can positively impact environments, people and the bottom line. Helen's experience at EnviroDNA's sister company, Cesar Australia, built her foundation for applying business and science for conservation purposes. She has worked with Australia’s leading innovation consultancy, Inventium, where she helped hundreds of people and organisations improve through creativity and innovation.

Helen's natural inclination towards people is one of the major reasons I wanted to do this podcast with her. She thinks about great people and hiring a lot, and I really enjoyed the chance to deep dive into how she's managed to build a great team in a smaller niche business.
