Desiree Taylor worried constantly that she would be a disappointment to God. Legalism caused a fear that impacted her sense of worth and intimacy with him: that if she were to mess up, he might not love her as much. Desiree asserts that if you don't know God, you can't trust him. And if you don't trust him, you can't follow him fully.
Desiree is now learning how to let the Father lead, as a father tenderly leads his daughter. The root of legalism is a lack of understanding of the Father's all-encompassing love for us. Jesus wants to free you from the yolk of legalism today!
