Taylor Swift's new album inspired Kiley to dive into the life of Clara Bow. Old Hollywood stories are always wild and full of drama but Clara's life is absolutely heartbreaking. She had a terrible home life and her experience in Hollywood was not always positive. Her name needs to be known for the incredible talent she had and the legacy she left for future stars.

We have not done a mythology episode in a while so we are bringing you one of our favorite tragedies, Orpheus and Eurydice. We are huge fans of the Hadestown musical so this was a super fun one for us! Orpheus was a poor young boy who loved music and loved Eurydice even more. Eurydice loved him so much and challenged him to trust her. Their story ended in pure tragedy...and lots of limbs everywhere.

French Pirate and Privateer, Jean Lafitte has quite the story despite how many people think of his simply as a Pirate. He fought for America in the War of 1812, was a smuggler, and went on many adventures with her brother, Pierre. He worked with Spain at one point...crazy guy. Also he doesn't wear a pirate hat... or eye patch. Him and his brother disappeared in history and nobody knows where they went.
