Se supone que Krampus, es la figura antagonista de San Nicolás o Santa Clause como algunos lo conocen, y se cuenta que azota a los niños malos hasta que se vuelven buenos. Pero ¿Cuál es su historia?
Krampus es una criatura mitológica que, en algunas leyendas europeas, se dice que es el compañero de San Nicolás. Krampus suele representar como una figura demoníaca, a menudo con cuernos y pezuñas, que castiga a los niños malos durante la temporada navideña. Las raíces de Krampus se pueden rastrear hasta las tradiciones paganas precristianas de Europa, donde originalmente estaba asociado con el solsticio de invierno y el dios Thor.
