Julián es un orgulloso egresado del Programa MBA, la escuela de Administración de la Universidad de los Andes en 2004. También es ingeniero civil de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia titulado en 1997.
Desde hace 13 años, reside en Nueva Zelanda, donde actualmente dirige la parte comercial de una importante empresa lechera israelí.
