International Open Mic

The New York City Chapter of the Historical Novel Society presents this recording from January 25, 2025. Susan Wands moderates our International Open Mic for historical fiction authors. Eleven members join her in a Zoom meeting to read excerpts from their published books. The historical times and places range from 1C Rome to 1940’s Norway with stops in 6C Peru, 10C Spain, turn of the 20C Far East and Paris, plus many more. A Q&A with each author covering topics such as their research, character development, and writing process follows the readings.
