Dr. Rafael Ioris is a professor of Latin American History and Politics at the University of Denver. He specializes in Brazilian history, politics, foreign policy as well as Brazil-US relations. Dr. Ioris grew up in Brazil, attended college there and later received his doctorate in Latin American History in the United States.
He is the recipient of many prestigious research funds… including the Andrew Mellon Foundation, the French Foreign Ministry, the National Research Council of Brazil… and he has been a visiting Professor at premier universities… including the University of Sao Paulo, Sorbonne University, in Paris, and the University of International Business and Economics, in Beijing.
