Welcome to a new series of History: From One Student to Another. This series will be covering Theme 4: Britain, 1919–39, of the European option, from the Cambridge A-Level History curriculum. In this first episode of my new series on Britain from 1919 to 1939, essentially inter-war Britain, I will be giving an introduction to post-First World War Britain, under Lloyd George’s Coalition government.

Over the next couple of months, I will be self-studying Britain, 1919-1939. New episodes will be released every Tuesday!
