ECU fights, but comes up just short in Conway Regional

Although it marked the end of their season, the East Carolina Pirates had a weekend to remember at the Conway Regional. ECU defeated Florida twice, eliminating the Gators with some drama along the way, and pushed host Coastal Carolina in two games, before ultimately falling 1-0 in the championship final on Sunday night. The Pirates conclude their campaign 35-27 overall, finishing a couple wins shy of a Super Regional berth. The Bucs on the Pond podcast returned on Monday night to discuss various topics.
