(00:02):
On this episode, a dark matter lesson in manifesting our
dreams. This is the Holistic Alpha Male
Optimization podcast where we help you unleash your true power
as a man. Hey guys, welcome back to the
show. I'm Stephen Mathis.

(00:22):
Thanks for being here, being part of the tribe.
I'm so glad that we've crossed paths, however and whenever that
was. Let's talk about manifesting our
dreams before I talk about dark matter.
And a lesson from that, a very, very critical lesson.
In fact, probably one of the biggest things that actually
stops all of us from achieving things that we have come into

(00:45):
our mind or our heart. Maybe in some ways, but we don't
end U bringing them into reality.
It might be the biggest thing that holds us back, the biggest
key. Before we dive into the details
of that, I want to share with you a real world example of a
man who is very much manifestinghis dreams, which are probably
different than yours and they'redifferent than mine, but they're
definitely his and he's definitely manifesting them in a

(01:06):
very real way. I'm talking about my nephew
Daniel. Some of you may know he plays
Major League Baseball. He got called up to the majors
last year, which was, of course, already in and of itself putting
on a Major League uniform. Uniform is a major
accomplishment and already kind of accomplishing part of his
dream. But that was really only the
start. He's had an amazing year this

(01:28):
year so far. A few days ago, he had a game
where he hit two home runs in the ninth inning.
This happened. I want you to listen to this and
then we'll I'll be back with you.
The next offering swung out and blasted hide deep to right.
Gone. How about that, a Grand Slam to

(01:56):
right by Daniel Sneeman. Oh what a celebration.
Awaiting him in the first base dugout and the Guardians stun
the sell out crowd and lead it 5to 3.
John Snyder will make a pitchingchange.

(02:20):
Daniel Sneeman with two home runs.
So in that game, and he's been absolutely kicking ass for a bit
now this year and overall for the year, but in that particular
game, two home runs, including that Grand Slam in the ninth
with his team trailing, he was responsible for all five runs.

(02:40):
The last player to hit two home runs in a game, including a
Grand Slam with his team down inthe 9th inning.
The last player to do that was Babe Ruth in 1919, which is a
very, very cool company to be in.
Obviously, he is continuing to stack bricks in manifesting his
dreams. Let's talk about a very, very

(03:01):
critical point in manifesting our dreams.
And that is a lesson that I was reminded of watching a show that
some of you guys may have seen. I don't watch a lot of TV.
In fact, I almost never watch TV.
Let's like hang out with my kids.
I'm more of an audio book kind of guy.
But I had my one of my other nephews.
I'm so blessed to have an awesome family.
By the way, I had one of my other nephews recommend to me.

(03:21):
Patrick recommended to me a couple of shows.
One of them was Dark Matter. Dark Matter is an Apple
original. It's an Apple TV, absolutely
fantastic series. I'm not going to give you too
much detail to ruin anything foryou, but I'm going to need to
give you a couple of basic ideasin order to explain the lesson
that I was very powerfully reminded of.

(03:42):
So the main character, Jason, he's a physics professor and he
invents a box, a combination of a box and a drug that allows him
as a human to use the concept ofsuperposition of multiple
realities existing at the same time to actually allow him to
step into other realities. So you might, some of you guys
might be very familiar with that.

(04:03):
Some of you guys might be like, what the hell are you talking
about? In essence, the idea of
superosition says that there aremultiple states that exist at
the same time. There's a thought experiment
called the Schrodinger's cat experiment, where it is only a
thought experiment. This has never been actually
conducted. But in essence, there's a cat in
a box. There's a little more to it, but
in essence, the thought is that actually this cat is both dead

(04:24):
and alive at the same time. And we've been able to, the
scientists have been able to replicate this idea on a very,
very, very small kind of particle level where we
basically know to a certain degree now that particles are
not in one place. They're actually in many places
at the same time. And they don't take a location
until we observe it, right? So there's this.

(04:47):
In essence, our reality is basedon us observing it, and all
realities exist all at the same time.
So Jason, in Dark Matter, he invents this box.
He decides that he wants to kindof go to a reality where he made
a different choice. Somewhere along the way, a very
important choice, family kid related kind of choice.

(05:08):
He wants to go to reality where he made a different choice.
And thence this box where he goes into the box and he can in
essence choose his reality. He can step into any of the
infinite realities of of his life, of the world, right?
So he goes into this box, takes the drug to sort of shut off his
brain, because if we're observing it, we're observing a

(05:28):
specific reality we have. We have to sort of remove that
actual act of observation in order to get into that infinite
reality. I'm going to get to a very
clear, very actionable point here very soon, so hang with me
on that. So he invents this box, he steps
in, he takes the drug, closes the door.
When he wakes up or after he takes the drug inside this box,
he is now inside the what was the box, and the door looks the

(05:52):
same, but there's a hallway thatgoes infinitely in both
directions. And the door that he came into,
he can now go out any of infinite doors that look the
exact same. They're repeated over and over
and over again. And behind each door is a
different reality. And at first he thinks that the
reality that's behind the door is specific, meaning a specific

(06:13):
door has a specific reality. And he's in the mode where he's
like trying to find the right door to go into.
But then gradually he makes a very, very important discovery.
And what he discovers is that what's behind the door is not
dependent upon which door it is.It's dependent upon what is in
his inner world at the time thathe opens the door.

(06:34):
But then he makes a really important nuance or a discovery
of a very particular nuance because what he what starts to
happen is they'll be thinking ofsomething, but he opens the door
and there's a completely different reality behind it.
In some cases, a very dangerous or very terrifying reality that
is not what he was thinking of. But what it was, is it was

(06:56):
something that was in his emotions or it was in his
beliefs. So if he was thinking of this
wonderful reality that he wantedto get to, but he was feeling an
emotion of overwhelm, then he opens the door and he's into
this reality of overwhelm. And the lesson is something
that, you know, it's awesome howfiction, fiction can be so

(07:19):
informative and transformative. There's been countless works of
fiction that have been in essence, people conveying
lessons and messages that very much could be put into a self
help book. But they're put into fiction,
right? And something that I've talked
about before, when it comes to manifesting, when it comes to
drawing our dreams and stepping towards what we want to create

(07:39):
in a powerful way, we have to align our emotions, right?
So what Jason and Dark Matter discovers is that in order to
open the door that goes to the reality that he wants to go to,
his mind, his emotions and his beliefs all have to be in
alignment. So let's talk about a concrete
example that might have happenedin your life or that you could
think about happening in someone's life, right?

(07:59):
Think about how many people wantto be rich?
How many people want to be rich? Most, right?
How many people actually are a much smaller number.
Part of that is the action that they take.
But there's many people who havethe desire.
They take the action or they take a lot of action.
It doesn't happen. Why is it not happen If you have
a belief that you're not worthy of that wealth or if you have a

(08:21):
belief that you're not good enough, or if you have other
emotions that are counter to that idea, they will block you.
They will act to block you because you will step into a
different reality. So let's talk about a
relationship. If you have in your eye, in your
mind, the idea that you want to be in a relationship, but in
your heart you have a belief that you're not worthy of love,

(08:44):
then you're not going to attractthe relationship that you
desire. We absolutely have to align our
thoughts, our emotions, and our beliefs if we're going to create
and bring the our thoughts, the things we really desire, the
things we prefer. If we're going to bring those
into reality, or rather we're going to step into a reality
where those are true, then we must go in and figure out what

(09:10):
emotions and what beliefs are getting in the way of that are
conflicting with that. And we need to reprogram those
and systematically step into different beliefs and different
emotions that align with what wedesire.
The ways that we do that are by doing the inner work, right?
It's meditating, it's your mindful edging practice.
It's thought. It's just literally thinking

(09:32):
about and going into your inner world and having an awareness
and an openness to understand well what emotions actually are
in there and are those in alignment with what I'm trying
to create? Do I actually have a ton of do I
have a belief, a deep set beliefthat I'm not good enough to do a
certain thing even though I wantthat thing and even though I'm
working to do that thing? Do I have a belief that I'm not

(09:53):
good enough for that? That will block you, will
prevent you from achieving that thing.
So this alignment is absolutely crucial.
I freaking love to see Daniel living it out in real life.
And you know what? I see so many of you guys, your
dream probably is not to play Major League Baseball.
Maybe it is. Maybe there's a few of you who
are listening, you know, young guys, maybe that's your dream.
If so, like keep keep stepping. No matter what your dream is,

(10:14):
though, keep stepping because you wouldn't have the dream if
it wasn't meant for you. You wouldn't have the dream and
the desire if it wasn't meant for you.
But it will only happen when youalign your thoughts, your
emotions, and your beliefs. Do that work.
Keep stacking, keep stepping. We'll talk to you soon.
