(00:01):
On this episode, an important aspect of what this work, this
work of reinvigorating and livening, expanding our
sexuality, building a beautiful, powerful life on a foundation of
empowered sexuality. What this work is about and what

(00:21):
it is definitely not about. This is the Holistic Alpha Male
Optimization podcast where we help you unleash your true power
as a man. Hey guys, welcome back to the
show. I'm Steven Mathis.
Thanks for being here, being part of the tribe.

(00:43):
Let's talk about something that comes up occasionally.
I'll get a question about this. I think probably a much larger
number of guys that at least crosses their mind and that is
that if we're going to talk about aspects of our sexuality,
you and I here in this moment onthis podcast as a start, and

(01:04):
then if we're going to talk about it in community, in a
mastermind setting, anything like that.
The question is, well, how are we talking about that, right?
One of the questions that I sometimes get from guys is do
you do like group masturbations that sessions or coaching or
anything like that? And the answer is unequivocally

(01:25):
no. And I, it's a relatively small
number of guys that have texted me something like that.
But I think that again, probablycrosses guys minds and there are
certainly some guys who have I think come across my work and
maybe been hoping that that's what it is.

(01:47):
And I don't make any judgement about that.
But it's 100% not about that in any way, shape or form.
Nothing I've ever done or ever will do on this podcast and
coaching and community, whether it's one-on-one coaching, it's
mastermind, none of it is about that.
And not only is it not about that, but here's the other point

(02:10):
and the point that I think is really relevant to you beyond
the context of whether what I dois about that.
But I did want to be very clear about that.
Not only is it not about that kind of thing, it's not about
shared arousal. It's not about talking about the

(02:32):
aspects and of sexuality and thethe challenges and the
practices. It's not about talking about
those with our brothers in a waywhere we're getting aroused.
It's not about that at all, completely not about that.
It's a it's about growth, right?It's about a mature, mindful,

(02:54):
expansive approach to talking about this.
It's about, for maybe lack of a better term, a professionalism,
right? That's a good word to think
about. It's a good word to think about
how I try to approach things. I can tell you that.
And definitely how I will and have been and will continue to
guide any sort of community thatis part of this tribe because

(03:17):
that's where the growth is. And here's the other point is,
it's not again, about just this community.
It's also about as you think about and work on your
sexuality, can you think about it and talk about it within your
own being, with your partner, with friends, with family, with
brothers, whoever it is that you're that you have in your

(03:40):
life that you can potentially talk to or ought to be talking
to you about sexuality? Can you talk about it at times
when that is the right thing to do or the the expansive thing to
do? Can you talk about it in a way
that is growth oriented, that isprofessional, that is not about
getting aroused in the moment? It's about understanding and

(04:03):
communicating. It's a critical, it's a very
simple point, but it's a very, very critical 1.
So please understand that for sure, this podcast, everything I
do is never going to be about any sort of shared arousal.
That's not what this is about. And again, I make no judgement
about what any guy would like toparticipate in or who he's

(04:25):
attracted to or anything like that.
It's not about that. It's just about this is what it
is. What it's not, it is growth.
It's not shared arousal. And I would also suggest that as
you approach these topics, it's very important for you to be
able to talk about them and evento think about them in a way
where you kind of come up to that 30,000 foot view and you're

(04:47):
understanding it and you're witnessing it and you're working
on it as opposed to being in it and being aroused by it.
I hope that makes sense. I really appreciate you being
part of this tribe. Keep stacking bricks in your
life. Talk to you soon.
