In this part II, Ricard Brown, MD, an integrative psychiatrist at Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University College, will speak about other examples of how learning breathwork is a skill once learned is yours for life. Stories of communities across the world he has taught skills to.  Often others will teach friends what they know to help them work through and erase the effects of PTSD, and other forms of trauma. He will also recommend a supplement for memory and alertness, and so on.

Dr. Richard Brown is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He has been in practice for over 45 years.He has studied yoga, Zen meditation, and breath practices for over decades. He is a certified teacher of Aikido (4th Dan Black Belt), Qi Gong, and after much research/studying several forms of breath work with masters around world, he and his wife, Dr. Gerbarg created a program called Breath-Body-Mind for professionals,yoga teachers, survivors of mass disasters like 911, and the general public. He offers free workshops for members of the 9/11 Community through (

He is considered the country’s leading clinical expert on SAM-e, used for depression.
