Queen Afua has been a Black American pioneer in the green holistic movement for over 50 years in NYC. As a teenager she suffered from severe asthma and had other complications and decided to turn her life around through natural ancient African techniques of healing the body. She has become known for being a healer of African American women and the pandemic they are experiencing of illness in the womb. Queen Afua has designed ways to address fibroids that often lead to hysterectomies, death at childbirth and other gynecological problems. Black women are seldom understood as to how their body's function as little research has been done, as they are not helped by the same procedures in medicine that white women receive. Queen Afua has fought for wellness for women of color throughout the US, Europe, Caribbean, and Africa, helping over one million people. She works with integrative medical doctors, and is able to stop align with their services to help many people. She is often a guest on shows like Charlamagne Tha God on Breakfast Club Power, is a New York Times Bestselling author, and has been interviewed by magazines like Essence, Rolling Stone and other publications and podcasts.
