Dr. Eden Fromberg is a unique holistic obstetrician and gynecologist in the Hudson Valley area of NY & NYC. She was born in Brooklyn through a natural birth and  was born as a 3rd generation vegetarian, who was raised on a naturopathic diet of vegetables and juices. She decided to become a gynecologist and challenge long held beliefs that were either hurting or not helping women under medical care and face discrimination from male counterparts who did not support her views about nutrition, special movement classes, addressing underlying symptoms in women with pain which is often ignored by malie doctors, to now administering plant based hormones with little side effects and substantial gains for the patient. Guest Bio:  Eden G. Fromberg, is an osteopathic physician, Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (1999) and Board Certified in Integrative & Holistic Medicine by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (2003). She is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative & Holistic Medicine, and was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine (2000). Dr. Fromberg is the Founder and Director of Holistic Gynecology New York,and has been the Obstetrical Consultant to Yayasan Bumi Sehat Foundation and midwife Robin Lim (CNN Hero of the Year, 2011) and known for international childbirth work in Bali, Indonesia. She has presented at the Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, The Long Island College Hospital, Childbirth Education Association of Metropolitan New York, Midwives Association of North America, and Midwifery Today. Dr. Fromberg holds an MA in Somatic Movement Education and Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, has multiple yoga certifications, and is a Founding Member of the Fascia Research Society. Dr. Fromberg is fully trained, credentialed, and has over 35 years of clinical experience iof traditional and holistic medical practice. She teaches professional courses to international societies, and is featured in the film The Business of Being Born by Ricki Lake, and has written for the Huffington Post. Dr. Fromberg thinks outside the box, and is adept at diagnosing complex problems that are often dismissed or not adequately addressed by conventional gynecological and medical care.
