Parenthood: The One-Handed Edition

There’s parenting… and then there’s parenting while your partner’s recovering from surgery. In this episode, I’m sharing what it was like when my boyfriend had to be hospitalized for a second thumb surgery just seven weeks after our daughter was born—right before we were supposed to go out of town. From packing alone, solo parenting, and hauling a newborn to the hospital daily, to six straight weeks of post-surgery infusions, I was stretched way too thin. It’s funny now—but back then? Not so much.
