Tammy Flake proudly served in the United States Army from 2004 to 2008 as a Unit Supply Specialist and Arms Room Specialist. Stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, she was assigned to the 3-101 Aviation Regiment, where she played a vital role in supporting the Apache Helicopter mission. Her responsibilities demanded precision, accountability, and trust, as she managed sensitive equipment and weapons systems critical to both training and combat readiness.
During her time at Fort Campbell, Tammy earned her Air Assault qualification, demonstrating both physical grit and mental resilience as she mastered skills such as sling-load operations and helicopter insertions. Her service included a deployment to Iraq from 2005 to 2006, where she was stationed at LSA Anaconda, one of the largest logistics hubs in the region. Operating in a high-tempo environment under the pressures of war, she ensured that soldiers had the equipment and weapons necessary to carry out their missions effectively.

Together with her husband, Tammy helps run a thriving government contracting business, balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with her commitment to creating stability and opportunity for her family.
Beyond business, Tammy has dedicated herself to service within her community and especially to her fellow veterans. In Utah, she is an active leader with Americans for Prosperity, lending her time and voice to initiatives that strengthen families, communities, and opportunities for growth. Her leadership extends into the veteran community as well—Tammy currently serves as the Post Commander for her local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), a position that highlights the respect and trust she has earned among her peers. In addition, she holds the role of State Surgeon for the Utah VFW, where she contributes to the health and well-being of veterans across the state.
Tammy’s passion for supporting veterans is deeply personal and unwavering. She is especially focused on combating the epidemic of veteran suicide, working closely with organizations such as Heroes Haven, which provides healing opportunities, mentorship, and connection for struggling veterans.
